Notes:
A three-year starter and team captain for the Thundering Herd --- 2nd Team All-American in 2011 --- Named 1st Team All-C-USA in 2010 and 2011 --- 2011 Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year --- Mother lost battle with cancer and died at the age of 50 during Vinny's senior season --- Played against Rice shortly after his mothers death and notched 4.0 tackles for a loss and 3.5 sacks while also forcing a fumble that led to Marshall's game-winning touchdown --- Didn't miss a game in final three seasons --- Had 2.0 sacks in the Senior Bowl --- Not the most impressive physical specimen but compensates with outstanding intangibles and is just a good football player who makes impact plays.
