Strengths:
• Excellent size w/ long arms and big hands
• Athletic w/ great speed, agility, quickness
• Real active with terrific range and mobility
• Disruptive and able to penetrate backfields
• Shows array of pass rush moves and counters
• Able to play multiple positions and schemes
• Still improving and posseses a lot of upside
Weaknesses:
• Instincts and awareness are still developing
• Is not particularly explosive off of the ball
• Technique and hand use will need refinement
• Must become more consistent with leverage
• Is not overly stout at the point of attack
• Some concerns about maturity in the past
Injury History:
• Missed one game and was hampered by ankle injury in 2010
Notes:
Was a 2½-year starter for the Bulldogs --- Named 1st Team All-SEC and also garnered some All-American notice in 2011 --- Could project as either a three-technique defensive tackle in a 4-3 scheme or a five-technique defensive end in a 3-4 at the next level --- Suspended for one game in 2011 for a violation of team rules --- Also made a name for himself as a kick blocker in college --- One of those prospects who is more highly-thought of in scouting circles than by the media and draftniks --- Arguably the best pass rusher at his position in this class and could be the first defensive tackle off the board on April 26.
