   • Productive with a lot of high-quality experience

Weaknesses:
   • Questionable instincts, awareness and football IQ
   • Is undisciplined and often strays from assignments
   • Struggles when asked to take on and shed blocks
   • Just average strength and is not overly powerful
   • Doubt cast on maturity, toughness and work ethic
   • Won't offer much positional or schematic versatility

Injury History:
   • History of hamstring issues but didn't miss any games

Notes:
A three-year starter for the Tar Heels --- Named 1st Team All-ACC in 2011 --- Spent a year prepping at Hargrave Military Academy --- Also a standout in track and wrestling (29-0) in high school --- Competed on the UNC track team in 2009 and set a school record in the 60-meter (6.72) --- Only saw action on special teams against Georgia Tech in 2011 due to a violation of team rules --- Was part of a very talented linebacking corps in Chapel Hill that also included Bruce Carter (Dallas Cowboys), Quan Sturdivant (Arizona Cardinals) and Kevin Reddick, who is an early round possibility for the 2013 NFL Draft --- A finesse 'backer whose best fit at next level will likely come on the weakside in a 4-3 scheme --- Intriguing prospect with impressive measurables but shaky intangibles and might be a better athlete than football player.
