Stars
Strengths:
Prototypical height and bulk with long arms and big hands --- Rare athleticism --- Fantastic quickness and agility --- A natural knee bender with nimble feet --- Moves well laterally to slide and mirror --- Excels in pass pro --- Can protect the edge and handle speed rushers --- Is able to sustain blocks and control defenders --- Great range to pull and get to the second level --- Outstanding strength --- Still has a lot of upside.

Weaknesses:
Inexperienced --- Questionable instincts and awareness --- Does not have great balance --- Raw when it comes to leverage, footwork and hand use --- Doesn't get much of a push in the run game --- Gets out of control in space --- Struggles to adjust and redirect --- Does not consistently finish blocks --- Lacks a violent punch --- Doesn't play up to his weight room numbers --- Maturity ? --- Health and Durability  issues.

Notes:
Only started 17 career games for the Terrapins --- Attended Hargrave Military Academy in 2006 --- Father, Bruce, starred on the hardwood at Providence College and was selected by the New Jersey Nets in the 8th Round of the 1978 NBA Draft --- Suffered from a Arnold-Chiari malformation and underwent brain surgery in high school to drain fluid and relieve pressure --- Missed games with turf toe and knee injuries in 2009 --- Never earned All-ACC honors during his college career --- The next in a long line of marvelous physical specimens produced by the Maryland program, following in the footsteps of Vernon Davis and Darrius Heyward-Bey --- Was the star of the 2010 Scouting Combine, checking in at 6-6⅜ and 312 pounds with 36¼-inch arms, 10½-inch hands, running a 4.85 forty, vertical leaping 32 inches and putting up 34 reps of 225 pounds --- A finesse blocker who plays the game with a basketball mentality --- Looks like a #1 overall pick on paper but too often plays like a mid-rounder --- Has all the potential in the world and the tools to develop into a stud left tackle at the next level but is still a much better athlete than football player at this point --- Boom  or  Bust.
