   • Technically sound w/ good mechanics, quick delivery
   • Generally calm, cool and collected inside the pocket
   • Tough and stands tall to deliver in face of pressure
   • Accustomed to working under center in pro system
   • Clutch and is a gamer who steps up in big moments
   • Mature, intelligent, hard working and a great leader
   • Productive w/ a lot of experience vs. top competition

Weaknesses:
   • Arm strength is adequate but certainly not special
   • Not a vertical passer; becomes less effective deep
   • Isn't overly mobile and won't make plays with feet
   • Can be too patient and hold onto ball for too long
   • Minor durability concerns and got nicked at times
   • Might be close to maxed out with limited potential

Injury History:
   • Sidelined by a foot injury as junior in high school
   • Missed one contest with an ankle injury in 2009
   • Played through sprained ankle / shoulder in 2010

Notes:
A three-year starter and team captain for the Spartans --- Named 2nd Team All-Big 10 in 2011 --- Backed up Brian Hoyer, who now plays for the New England Patriots, early in college career then beat out Nick Foles and Keith Nichol for the starting job --- Name is plastered all over the Michigan St. school record book and is the winningest quarterback in Spartan history --- Also excelled in the classroom in East Lansing and graduated with a degree in kinesiology --- Active off the field and in the community --- Delivered a passionate speech at the Big Ten Kickoff Luncheon prior to senior campaign that really speaks volumes about the kids character --- May not have all of the physical tools you look for but compensates with elite intangibles --- Best fit may come in a West Coast Offense --- Should at the very least be a quality backup at the next level and is the type of person you shouldn't bet against.
