I thought Peyton was a little high in arm strength? Certainly I thought Culpepper had more of a cannon, other than that, it's pretty good.

BS. Carson should be 2nd only to Vick in mobility :D

Actually I like the list in terms of where Carson is. Him or Manning as the most accurate is a tossup so Manning as the vet rightfully gets the go ahead.

He has led the most 4th quarter comebacks since '02 IIRC.

Isaiah Stanback wasn't drafted to play QB though. They are hoping that he becomes a WR with all his athletic ability.

lol you haven't watched Palmer much then. He did have an off year last year (you know, the whole tearing his ACL/MCL/PCL) but he hits his spots.

I disagree with 2 of those, Vick should be higher in arm strength, and Young shouldn't be top 10 clutch after 1 season.

i think Losman should be on the top ten for clutch, if anyone saw his comeback drive against TExans, and his TD pass with 15 sec left.
and his drive to set up a field goal to beat the Jaguars......he had a pass to Roscoe Parrish that was very nice

Yeah Vick should be higher than Palmer. Palmer may throw one of the best deep balls but he doesn't put near the zip on it that Vick does, granted that may be partially by design but I've never seen Palmer throw one with the velocity Vick does.

did u watch him last year? I remember he threw an INT when they were in FG range to tie against the Bengals, and i think a week or two later he did something very similar. If we arnt looking at last year then I would agree with you.

Boller has a gun. It's too bad he hasn't been able to put everything together, because there's no doubt he has as much natural ability as almost any quarterback in the league.

Disco.

His arm strength is top notch as is his accuracy. But he's been forced to "make" so many average WR's great that people confuse accuracy and forcing it to make plays (or endure loss after loss without opposition).

I don't know, I find it kind of funny when someone who fancies themselves an "expert" starts making incredibly arbitrary lists like this. Doing this on a message board is typically pretty fun and harmless, otherwise it seems really silly.

At first I was happy that Stanback made it onto a list, but then I examined it more closely.

How is Stanback, who runs a 4.4 40, less mobile than Jake Plummer? This guy has no idea what he's talking about.

Rivers should definitely be there for clutch.

Highest 4th quarter QB rating.

2 insane comebacks on his shoulders in Cincy and in Denver.

Buzzer beater FTW against Seattle.

1st down run to kill the clock against Pittsburgh.

14-2 record despite a couple shaky games.

What the hell did Matt Leinart do?

Donde esta Romo?

Yeah, I really think they dropped the ball on Romo.
[/pun]

To be honest, I actually really like these lists though. That's the most I've liked a list for arm strength that I've seen.

To address a couple questions, Culpepper's strength has dropped significantly since his knee injury so that's no surprise to see him where he is. And Leftwich not being on there--I'll be honest, I haven't seen a whole lot of Jags games, but he seems to have a bit of a windup to get it to go that far. In that case, that's why you see all those other guys out there in front of him.

well he did quite well considering the type of offensive line he played behind. He played very well against the bears, but Edge happened to have the worst game in Running back history and some late game heroics by Hester won the game for the bears. So hes not getting much help except from Boldin and Fitz.

Oh man GRF is gonna have a fit not seeing Captain Clutch aka Mr. Comeback not on that top 10 list. I don't see Peyton as the #2 in clutch, but if we go by regular season okay. Tony Romo doesn't belong on any of these lists, but he ranks #1 in hot celebrities the QB has had sex with

Some points of contention.

1. How in the name of all things holy are Leinart and Young in the top 10 in clutchness, especially Leinart. Was it the Cardinals sparkling 4-7 record in game's he started??? At least Young had some clutch comebacks last year, but still not enough to warrent top 10. I mean if the game is on the line and you have one drive to score that there are only 8 QB's in the league you would rather have than Young and Leinart. Well allow me to say PFFFFFFFFFT to that.

2. The accuracy rankings. Again, what did Leinart do to deserve the number 7 spot. I mean what the hell??? That incredible 56.8 completion percentage better not have been the reason, because NEWSFLASH that's a terrible completion percentage. But if one were to do something so outlandish as to rate accuracy by completion percentage to some extent, they would see that David Carr and his league leading 68.3 completion percentage, 3% higher than the next in the league.......Tony Romo at 65.3 deserve a top 10 spot more than Leinart. Not saying I would put them in the top 10, but I would certainly put them in the top ten before Leinart, because you know, I look at things like stats.

Ok can we stop all this talk about the 4.4 40? He didn't run at the combine and he logged a 4.58 before his injury.

Not that I like Delhomme a whole lot, but he does have more..
