This kid "has a rare genetic condition called myostatin-related muscle hypertrophy, or muscle enlargement. The condition promotes above-normal growth of the skeletal muscles; it doesn't affect the heart and has no known negative side effects, according to experts." This kid grows muscle at about 40% more rapidly then normal people.

Actually there is a potential negative side effect. He has no body fat, and body fat is needed to build the brain and central nervous system.

true, but he's still young. Throw a couple a twinkies in there with his hourly meals, and there ya go, body fat!(although with his metabolism, probably wont last long)

Well there are some things that aren't negative per say but more inconvenient.

His metabolism works so fast he's got to eat every hour, imagine if he was to play oh I don't know a football game (this kid at RB... that's sick...) that lasts 3 hours, he'll have to eat 3 meals just to prevent his body from collapsing. And do take into account that he'll grow. He already out-eats his mom now, just imagine what he'll be doing when he's 20 years old and 6'0'' (random size).

I for one wouldn't like to be his parent as the sheer food-costs of supporting this kid are and will be through the roof.

His meal eating will most likely slow down after he hits puberty.

also they say it might stunt his growth having no body fat, he'd be the best 4'7 rb ever!
