I def. didnt like when the ball hit one of the receivers square in the hands and he tipped it in the air and it was picked. That better not happen a lot.

Also, I've said it before but, i have a feeling that tackling the RB is going to be real tough this season w/ the new dynamic running.

and....lol at the shaky routes from the home field disadvantage.

If my connection is good enough...I'm def. in on an online dynasty. I really don't know exactly how it works, though.

All I'm gonna do is run the ball this year. Srsly running was easy enough last year and with the way Miami's roster is shaping up I'm just gonna pound the rock.

I also wanna know how the dynasties work. Could we do one with mostly NFLDC guys? I'm glad I'll have the summer to play.

on it is ridiculously easy. When me and my buddy play, all i gotta do is chuck it up to Limas Sweed and he'll go up for it every time..
Hopefully they can fix that..

whenever i play NCAA i always employ a pass-first...run-never offense
so them improving the running alot more doesnt really do much for me


importing a draft class onto madden08 sucks.....madden is absolutely horrible btw

I havent really tried that, but I did do Campus Legend mode with John Chiles, and it was ridiculously easy to get better his 1st year and pass Colt, when I went to practice, you know you have a certain amount of points to go till your a starter, so when the cpu picks a horrible play, I audible everything out to make Sweed run a go route, I chuck up a lob fade, and he would score ever 2 plays or so with the computer, cut the practice time in half and I was starting in no time...Was actually pretty fun playing QB.


Im picking up with Moreno now, about to get in a few games 2nite...Only thing that pisses me off about not playing QB is the horrible play calling, it will be a crucial 3rd and 3 late in the game where I need to get this, I'll be hot at RB, and they call a QB sneak, WTF? Or it will be 3rd and 8 and they pick a Hail Mary, or worse we will move the ball all the way down field, but when its time to pass the QB throws the most horrible looking INT directly into the defender for him to run back and score, that play literally happens 2-3 times a game, I'm so close to breaking my controller...Im trying to win the NC but its hard when you dont have any control, even if you do go up your defense will end up blowing it for you.

Yeah man, try it some time.. it's a dirty move but it'll get you a first down every time lol.

And i haven't really gotten around to playing Campus Legend.. I played the Madden equivalent of it and it didn't really do much for me.

I'm more of a Dynasty man myself, Colt, Sherrod Harris and John Chiles all have won Heismans for me already 8-)

I've never been big on campus Legend mode...I did one once w/ QB and I was a big time recuit but, decided to go to Akron. haha. I hate being good teams. Anyway, yeah the playcalling is god awful...I audibled on nearly every play. The camera angle took a little while to get used to also. It got boring pretty fast though, cause I wanted to play some defense.

Might seem like a late question but can anyone tell me how to save instant replays? I only know how to save pictures, I think I need a different xbox version to be able to do this because I haven't seen that feature since I bought the game although it talks about it in tutorials...Be nice to know if I do have that option.

go to EA Sports Highlights, and then find a play
u pick the camera angle...and it will say "keep video" or something like that
and click yes/keep/---idrk and that should save it

Press the start button, go to EA Sports Highlights, you'll see tabs with the different quarters. Click on the correct quarter and look up the play (it will say 60 yard run for TD or something), watch the play in whatever camera angle you like, and then at the end it will ask you if you want to save it. Say yes.

At the end of the game when you're exiting isn't there a notice that says "Are you sure you want to quit? You will lose all highlights and photos that you haven't saved" or something....

So, I guess I'm really bored so, I started two campus legends. A 5 star RB that went to UConn and a 5 star CB that went to Wake. haha. It's been fun...I didnt think the camera angle was going to change when I was the corner but, it's pretty cool. Keeps me busy up until the draft.

What is your favorite position to play in campus legend? I've been messing around w/ a few. RB is probably my fav so far because, I actually get the ball...corner is fun too but, you dont get as many chances to make an impact. I still have some nice numbers, though. It sucks that they dont let you return kicks, even though I'm first on the depth chart at KR and PR.

I like linebacker because you get to do everything. There's never a dull moment there. RB is fun but it's not really a new experience because you can run the ball all you want in a regular game, plus blocking sucks.

I'd probably be best at LB...when playing normally, I'm always the ROLB and always lead the team in tackles. The reverse angle would take some getting used to, though.

LB is really hard for typical run plays. You play faster when you're in control, but it's hard to avoid blocks and especially hard to attack the ball properly on the inside. About 75% of the time you go for a tackle your guy will just run past the ball or brush the ballcarrier. It's very frustrating on the weird angle. The closer you get to the box (front 7), the harder it gets to play. Pass rushing is really easy and so is coverage.
