Has anyone seen it?
Some guy made me watch it.
I'm basically in shock. I tried to sleep.
and it didn't work.
Shame.
if you haven't seen it. and like slightly science-y movies, like back to the future only a drama instead of a comedy.
or if you like amazing books.
watch.
this.
movie.
please?

It felt like half a movie; there was no introduction to the characters and who they were. It starts out with all the guys talking about whatever the hell and then it jumps around to them building something. Why are they building something? We have no idea. Who are these guys and why should we care about them? We have no idea. I turned it off after fifteen minutes.

saw this quote on wikipedia about Primer. this is exactly how i feel about Mulhulland Drive:
"Anybody who claims they fully understand what's going on in Primer after seeing it just once is either a savant or a liar."

Indeed, sir. Indeed.
Ha, and you've been on here since 2004!
That's not saying too much. For the most part, I was more of a lurker.
So which user did you think I was in IRC?

in media res.
it's like the odyssey. once you get past that, it's a great human example of a mind-ferk.

Oh you want a mind**** type of movie? Go watch Videodrome; your preception of reality will be completely screwed up.

sure.
but the camerawork in primer is fantastic. the locations, it's really one of those movies that really seemed to have everything thought of. every question it wanted to have unanswered you knew was one of those tough ones.
and left certain mystery.
besides, in 15 minutes i could tell you what the characters were like. well. the two that really mattered. abe and aaron.
the movie never felt like it was made on 7000 dollars.
ever. which is part of the reason why it's so good.
ewing? are you not a science person?
