I know there's been a few guys suddenly join this (including myself) and we seem to have at least 5-6 guys. How many of you would be interested in forming an alliance at some point down the line? Some names I know for sure are playing besides me: NIP, The Vince, Windy, rainbeaukid, snuff.

I know most of us are new and are joining larger alliances for immediate aid, but after we get our nations off the ground is when I'm thinking we could band together.

Yes, you should trade. You will still have gold and steel, but will also gain sugar and fur. Neither of you will lose anything, and you both will gain something.

LUE even acknowledges the Legion as the most powerful alliance in the game. If you think you fit in with them then go for it, but I highly suggest checking out the LUE forum first. They're hilarious and cool.

Bonus resources are just a byproduct of the combination of 2 resources that you have. If rubber and oil are your natural resources and asphalt isn't showing up as a bonus, I would then assume that you have to trade for it to calculate bonus resources.

If that's the case, I would look for someone with rubber and water as natural resources to trade with. Then you should see asphalt show up.

I say rubber and water because if you trade for oil, your environmental rating goes down, but trading for rubber doesn't effect it. Also, trading for water makes your environmental rating increase. Your environment rating effects happiness as well as your population, which in turn effects the amount of taxes you bring in.

yea, you can buy a ton of crap for 35k. I bought lots of infrastructure, land, and military. Mostly infrastructure though. My followers have gone up to 816 now and I make atleast 12k everytime I collect taxes. :twisted:

Vince, other than Water how do u get more ppl to ur country, I see u have like 800

buy as much infrastructure as you can. You should aim for your land to be about 50% of what your infrastructure is, and your military troops to be about 35-40% of your entire population. This ratio will keep everything in balance and your people happy. Just keep spending all of your money on those things until your nation grows large enough that you collect alot of money from taxes, and then build a harbor and as many banks and factories as you can. Also play around with your tax rate until you find the best one, usually somewhere between 20-25%. And yes, I am a geek. :!:

Protection #1, if people see you are in Leu and they will not attack you unless they are crazy ***** and want to get in a war with like 800 people. all the guys on the forums are really cool and funny, I almost didnt join but im glad I did now. There are guides and stuff to help you learn how the game works. and you can get 35k to help your country start off with the fresh meat aid program.
