That's cause he sucked earlier in the year. James Aldridge needs more carries.

He was drafted already by the Cubs.
But the thing is, even with a player with great talent such as Brien Taylor, it's really hard to make it to the MLB through the Minors and get the salary you could get in the NFL. Of course, if Gil Meche could make X amount of dollars than Shark can but the road is tumultous.
I'm not saying the NFL is easy, quite to the contrary, but if he quits the dream of playing baseball then he can at least make the money firsthand of a first/second rounder.

This will be the second straight bowl game that ND will allow 600+ yards plus of offense. Even Greg Robinson and Gunther Cunningham would blush at those numbers.

Thats the first bad ball he's thrown tonight. The guy seems to have alot of touch and accuracy. Brady looks like he did in the first half of the Mich St. Game kind of spotty, someone said Eli Manning, not quite that bad but close.
and what kind of tough throws did he have to make?[/quot
Hes had time if thats what your trying to at, but has he missed much?
not even that. there hasnt been any time where the reciever that he threw too was tightly covered especially all the deep throws that he hit.
Your right he sucks, keep Andy Walter WTF do I care
You're a smart one!!
Your the fella with the agenda. Does it look like hes playing pitch and catch at times tonight yes. Do you see NFL QBs miss throws, even with time, even guys wideopen yes. Has he hit most of those yes. Did he lay two 50yrd+ passes on the money yes. So state your point. Mr Brighteyes. If your trying to say its too easy to get a read him then just say so.

Watch out, getting you ass kicked by LSU can break down your program. (see Miami (40-3))

Lol Notre Dame will not die. The stict academic requirements hurt recruiting unlike many other top division 1 programs.

Miami had a down year, their program isn't ruined. Alot of it was because Coker sucks, he practically babysat Butch's boys to a National Championship. They'll be in the thick of the ACC championship race next year.

Freshmen will still make huge mistakes. I honestly dont think jimmy (overrated) clausen will be a great qb right away. Michigan, Michigan State and USC will give him trouble because of the pressure they bring.

yeah once Weis gets all his guys in there we should be fine
but anyways, are there any legitimate defensive coordinators that are gonna be available in the off-season.
we need to fire our Defensive Coordinator, and give an absolute boat load of money to a defensive coordinator. We can pay our coaches more than anyone in the country there should be no reason for us to not be able to get a great defensive coordinator.

Once Weis gets all his men in there they will be good on offense and still suck onf defense.... Weis has recruited absolutly no one the last two years on defense, although he finaly got a few this year.
The only good defense of player he has recruited is Walls, and he hasn't looked good.

They have huge recruiting disadvantages as well which is one of the reasons they can't compete with teams like LSU right now. When Urban Meyer was being interviewed for the job Weis got, the first thing he said was you guys need to lower your academic standards. Notre Dame wouldn't do it and now Meyer is in Florida. Notre Dame lacks serious athletes and it will always be difficult to find those elite speed guys that hold up to their academic standard compared to a team like LSU.

It's nice to see two dominating bowl wins to start Les Miles' LSU coaching career.
It will be bittersweet if JaMarcus enters the NFL draft as expected. One more year and he could go down as the best quarterback in LSU history, and possibly lead us to another National Championship. On the other hand, I'm very eager to see Ryan Perrilloux get a lot of time at QB.

We got whooped last night, pretty good first half though. Not only is our D terrible, they play with no confidence, I'm glad Mike Richardson is finally gone, senior leadership is overrated when you suck. We needed to score at least 35 points to have a chance, and Quinn looked like he was trying to always make the big play instead of taking what LSU gave us.
Overall good season though, as the best programs show, one solid recruting class doesn't make a program. Weis looks like he's going to secure his 2nd top 10 class. It's going to be interesting to see what happens next season. @ Penn State, @ Michigan, and the other usual suspects, we're gonna take some lumps. At least the team will be young though, after 5 seasons under Weis, we will probably be a legit title contender, thats the difference between Weis and Ty.

i find it humerous...brady quinn rips up Army and Navy but he is scared to throw against a ranked team. Notre Dame schedules easy teams to ensure wins but it really ends up bitting them in the ass because they go untested facing big oppenents

Today we salute you, Mr. Delusional Notre Dame Fan. (Mr. Delusional
Notre Dame Faaaaaan!)
Season after season, year after year, you try to justify your absurdly
high preseason ranking. (Clutching at straws!)
You scramble to make futile attempts at damage control when the Irish
lose to a grossly inferior opponent (How'd Navy score fifty fouuuuuur?)
Inevitably, you'll bring up the past, and boast of National
Championships won 40 years before you were born. (Those were the
daaaaaays!)
You will point out that you have more wins than any other program as
though that is relevant to the current season. (Been playing since the
1870s!)
Go on, ignore that home loss to your archrivals in the regular season
finale and continue to believe that you'll defeat your bowl opponent
with striking ease. (LSU will win by thirteeeeeeey!)
So crack open an ice cold Bud Light, oh Emperor of Excuses, and take
comfort knowing that when you don't finish in the top 25, you'll be back
to number three when the preseason polls come out next year. (Mr. Delusional

Actaully up to this year, they haven't had absurdly high preseason rankings. A couple of months back we researched it. People called Notre Dame constanstly overrated. And my argument was they weren't overrated. The polls always placed them accordingly, up until this year. If any team in the past has been overrated it is Michigan.
