I never would have thought of something like this from Nick.

Wonder how he'll be dealt with. Hopefully not a suspension because all he did was get into a fight and he isn't a repeat guy. I'd say a fine and a slap on the wrist will handle this one.

Fights happen. We weren't there, so we don't know how it went down, or whether or not he was justified in his actions. Let's not turn this into anything more than it is. For all we know, some dude may have walked up to him and threw a drink in his face. Maybe some dude grabbed his girls titty while looking him right in the eye. Who knows. So let's just keep this in perspective and not act as though he is a bad person when none of us would know either way.

Now that I read others' posts, it appears you guys agree.

Stuff like this happens all the time. I bet if you go into a club on any given night there will be at least one physical altercation. Just what happens when you stuff a couple hundred drunk people into a small space.

He owns a bar but it lost it's liquor license for awhile but it has it back now. I'm not sure on the details of it as this happened over a year ago I think.

Also, it should be noted that as I'm reading this thread there's a special on NFL Network right now celebrating feuds and fights in the NFL.

honeslty, they should honor the dudes privacy... not that im sick of the players its more about the media.. it pisses me off that everytime any little thing happens, its all over.. its not like hes been arrested 10 times or freakin whacked someone... anyway thats all i really have to say

It was sarcasm. Most of the people on here know my views on players who get in trouble with the law: I usually don't care, and I definitely don't judge. Football is a game that encourages violence. You're gonna get people that have a dark element to them. Like I said, right now I'm watching a special on NFL Network centered around feuds and fights. It's literally a CELEBRATION of violence, hatred, and fights in the history of the game. To expect every player in the NFL to be an angel when you celebrate their violent side on the field is just hypocritical to me.

I say put him on a wall in front of a firing squad. He made a mistake, so he's a detriment to society, and killing him would relieve dead weight. Heck, we should kill everyone. That way there would be no crime.

He's a celebrity so he's a HUGE target for any drunk schmuck looking to get in a fight to prove how tough he is.

Booze, women and morons are never a good mix around professional athletes. It must suck being rich and young and never being able to do stuff with your friends because people always piss you off in public, I think I'd snap eventually too.

not defending him, just understandable.
