Do I take Maurice Drew and Fred Taylor for Jamal Lewis and Antonio Gates? My RB's are very weak (Lewis and Barber are my starters ATM, and I have a decent backup TE)

Do the deal if you are confident in your backup TE

I like Mo Drew this year, with the Jags playing the NFC South and the AFC West, although I wonder how many touches he might lose to the man-beast that is Greg Jones.

Don't do it IMO, Gates is too valuable to give up that easily, and I think Lewis will have a good year. And Taylor isn't even drafted in some leagues.

Who gets the better end of the deal?

Umm, that's a horribly ****** trade for both teams, I'd decline that in a second. One guy is trading three RB's..wtf?

If I had to pick though, I'd say the guy getting Cadillac etc. simply because with Cadillac and MJD, you're getting two very solid RB's who can get some nice points, certainly better than Rhodes and Lewis, where as fantasy wise, Steve Smith isn't that much better than Moss, certainly not enough to make up for the loss of Cadillac and MJD.

I agree with NVOT, MJD and Caddy far outweight a RB on the downswing (Lewis) and a RB who is just good with a good OL or in a platoon situation. Not a starter IMO.

Here's my situation, 8-team H2H League:

QB-Cutler
RB-Tomlinson
RB-Henry
WR-Harrison
WR-Javon Walker
WR-Anquan Boldin
TE-Kellen Winslow
K-Gostkowski
BN-Reggie Bush, Marshawn Lynch, Vincent Jackson, Jerricho Cotchery, Ben Watson and Eli Manning

IDP: Adrian Wilson
Sean Jones
Brian Dawkins
Kirk Morrison
Antoine Winfield
LaRon Landry
Antonio Pierce
Bart Scott
Kamerion Wimbley

THE TRADE:

Philip Rivers (I receive) for Adrian Wilson (he receives)

League Settings:

Passing Yards (50 yards per point)
Passing Touchdowns (6)
Interceptions (-2)
Rushing Yards (20 yards per point)
Rushing Touchdowns (6)

Tackle Solo (1)
Sack (2)
Interception (3)
Fumble Force (2)
Fumble Recovery (2)
Touchdown (6)
Safety (3)
Block Kick (5)

*Obviously just chose the league settings that compiled with the two players.

Should I accept or deny?

My honest opinion, I accept this in a minute. Cutler's not an ideal fantasy starter for me, I still have my doubts on him., regardless, Rivers would be a significant upgrade and given the point layout, any QB, even a bad one, is MUCH more valuable then even the best of defensive players. Plus you've still got some nice defensive talent to replace Wilson.
