from any team, before the start of TC, to your favorite team, who would it be & why?

I'd have to say Walter Jones, LT, Seattle Seahawks for the Chiefs. With Brodie Croyle looking to be the starter, it would be nice to have a perennial Pro Bowler protecting his blind side.

I think Rex Grossman can potentially develop into a Pro Bowl quarterback but hell, with a team that needs to win now throw Tom Brady on the roster. I think he'd be a better fit in Chicago than Manning, and when you're asked to name one player, sure offensive lineman might be nice (in a general circumstance, not specifically for Chicago), but in terms of the impact of a single player, quarterback almost always trumps all if there's any offensive line to speak of.

I would have said Walter Jones for the Chiefs but a Chiefs fan already said that so I will try somebody else:

DT Tommie Harris

Harris could be the best pass rushing DT in the league and his presence on the Chiefs defense and our young defensive line in particular could make our defense a top 5 defense. We have the talent in other areas and while we do have some young talent at defensive tackle we still don't have that proven three technique DT that is needed in the cover 2. a defensive line consisting of:

LE Tamba Hali
NT Demarcus Tyler
UT Tommie Harris
RE Jared Allen

Would be one of the best in the league. Hopefully Turk McBride will be allowed to play DT in the long run so he could hopefully develop into the UT we need.

Reggie Bush just because of his age, hes young and I believe has a very bright future ahead of him...

Browns have a young QB, WR, TE, and a couple young offensive linemen, adding Reggie Bush to go with Jamal and then eventually being the starter would be very good for the team.

I would say LT, but the Browns with LT won't win anything yet, and in 2-3 years LT will most likely start declining, where as Reggie will be in his prime.

Offense- Chad Johnson, not only does it give us Johnson and Clayton but it would also be a huge hit to the Bengals offense and the division would be ours!!

I'd agree I'm more confident in our WR's then I am with our secondary, but I'd go other then CB if we could add a player. With Jammer/Florence/Cro I have a lot more faith then McCree/(Hart/Weddle). I like Weddle a lot, and Hart is a good backup, but neither really scream Super Bowl this season. I'd have to go for Ed Reed if I could add a player to SD.

Offence would be great with the addition of LT (basically guaranteed 1500+ on the ground plus another couple hundred through the air). He would solve the vast majority of their offensive woes and would leave them with one of the best offences in the league. The defence is already at a level where they could win a Super Bowl.

yeah. but when you're in a division with... wait. who's the running backs for the packers? vikings? lions?

two sub par guys. a new guy. kevin jones. and some guy named adrian peterson who is not on the bears.

gap rushing schemes like the bears have don't necessarly need a d-line that covers the run exclusively. if you have guys who can disrupt blocking schemes, it doesn't matter if they're covering the run or rushing the passer. there's no lanes to go through if done right. and if not, the bears pride themselves on quick linebackers... who react to the run. and provided one of the top defenses last year.
