He averaged the most points out of any of them this year i believe. In fact he led the league with around 30 P/G until he got that 15 game suspension;and then AI came. I dont even like the Nuggets but Carmelo doesnt get the credit he deserves. This is the way the draft class is right now as far as talent and who I would want to build my franchise around:
LeBron
Melo
Bosh
Wade

And whoever thinks Wade would have gone first overall in this draft doesnt understand basketball at all...

Also, Federer will not come close to winning. He has 0% of making it to the finals. We all hear the sports guys on ATH,PTI,and SC rave about him but we dont really care about Roger Federer that much. There is no way the finals will be a golfer and a tennis player. Tiger has a shot but othertwise it will be somebody from one of Americas 3 favorite sports.

Honestly, it sucks that Michael Phelps has no chance to win his first round match; let alone the whole thing as he is probably the most dominant in his sport. Federer has Nadal at least (who I'm rather shocked didn't make it, as he does have some off-court pub) and Tiger, well he's dominant.

Nah, I understand Liddell. Dale Jr. is probably the Face of NASCAR (I watch it weekly, Gordon is the most accomplished but I'm willing to bet the Earnhardt name is more well-known). UFC is still growing.

Crosby got ripped. But Jeter was too hard of a matchup, Sid should not have been a 7 seed.

I understand why Manica is on there, she's great OFF THE TRACK in terms of exposure. I love IRL, but her ON TRACK should not credit her but I understand why she's there. But there's no way she's more NOW than Bush.

I know. Crosby is 19, the face of the NHL, team captain, one of the 100 most influential according to time magazine, reigning MVP, reigning scoring champ, youngest team captain in NHL history, youngest scoring champ in SPORTS history.

He's won the Daytona 500 twice, two Busch Series championships and has been in the Chase twice and I think he has 16 or so victories in NEXTEL/Winston Cup. Face it though, NASCAR right now is bigger than UFC. UFC is growing, yes, I do agree, but NA$CAR is one of the fastest growing sports in history. It has died down though with Fuhrer France at the helm, and I lost interest with the Chase and the Top-35 rule but it's still a bigger sport nationally.

Completely agree. Look, I love LT and he's amazing, but there's no way he's as "Now" as David Beckham. I mean, the guy is probably the biggest sports star in the world by name recognition and all that and he's losing to a guy who pretty much gets all his fame on the field. even though UFC wins its time slot and chuck liddell is one of the faces of it, and is dominant and people know who he is by one nickname, "the iceman". Dale Jr. is overrated, partially because chucks sport requires talent and training and dale does something most people do every day, and that is drive. plus, a lot of nascar has to do with the car, and nothing in UFC has to do with that

Check NASCAR's ratings please. I do think he is overrated, being a NASCAR fan, but you really think it's that easy? Driving a heavy stock car at 180 mph? Oh yeah, I forgot that everyone deals with a loose car and if you don't have any endurance, you can lose up to 10 pounds of water weight. Have you ever been in a loose or tight car? How about racing with 42 other cars in a 2 - mile radius, sometimes seperated by inches? I didn't know people did that every day. . . . .

It's mental more than physical. They aren't running, they're lifting their foot off the pedal or pressing it down, and turning the steering wheel, but it's not like the race is dependent on their athletic ability.

I understand that. It still takes a certain amount of skill to do though, doesn't it? It does take at least some physical anguish though, turning a heavy car without power - steering would be a challenge, I assume. A loose race car would be a ***** as would a tight one (see if I take out the word "race car" who different is that sentence ;) ), guys like Carl Edwards are becoming more physically fit as it is getting harder.

Now if you want no talent, I'll give you the IRL. I remember years back Tony Stewart going around INDY WITH ONE HAND ON THE WHEEL! saying that his grandmother can drive one of them. He compared it with a bowling ball (Stock Car--NASCAR) and a tennis ball (IRL). There are buttons on the steering wheels and if it wasn't for accidents, you wouldn't have to use the brakes at Michigan and Chicago-amongst other tracks.

No way Jeter is a bigger name than Crosby in sports right now, simply no way. ESPN's pinstriped hard on rears its ugly head again. Crosby has been bigger off the field than Jeter for about the last three years running, and now he's the reigning MVP of his league and the captain of a playoff team. What a joke.
