Pittsburgh doesn't need a Corner.

3-4 ROLB, LT, LG or possibly WR.

Pittsburgh doesn't need a Corner.

wow! That's the quote of the century! Pittsburgh most certainly needs a top flight corner. It would help the defense out so much. Troy needs some help back there in the secondary. He gets next to nothing year in and year out from the rest of of those guys out there. If you had a top corner it would allow him to blitz and freelance more rather than worrying about all the coverage disabilities that Pittsburgh has had over the last couple of years. The front seven is great but the secondary - Polamalu leaves a lot to be desired.

As for the phins pick. We took a QB at the top of round 2 this year, I doubt we give up on Beck that easily. Plus, if Minnesota is that high up, QB will be the reason and they would nab Brohm there before us. Sam Baker, Derrick Harvey or Antoine Cason would be much better, logical picks there.

You didn't put much thought into the order. This is after trades. If it was pure order then ATL would be at 10, Carolina at 14, etc.

That said, I think it's a bit high for Okam. Of course he has the potential and a lot can change, but right now he is too high.

I like NT, WLB, MLB, RB, RE, LT, WR, CB (depth) for us right now. None of those positions are sure things.

Passing on Harvey for Sweed? :(

Slaton at 10 for Houston isn't a good pick. It's bad value and we have bigger needs at S, CB, WR, OT.

For Baltimore, I think Chris Long would be a perfect fit. We've already got a ton of young o-lineman.

Jackson is Ted Ginn pt 2. But with a lot better hands.

Never going to be a true #1 WR.

24. Seahawks- Early Doucet,WR,LSU

Good pick I love Doucet but may not be a huge need. Hackett will be a FA after this season but the Seahawks will still have slot of money tied up in Branch and Burelson. I like the pick though cause I think he will be a huge playmaker.

They took Russell over Peterson...

Jackson makes more sense.. a KR/PR/WR...They already have a full RB group.

Michael Bush, LaMont Jordan and Dominic Rhodes. Add Fargas to that group and frankly I don't think RB should be considered.. They have literally 3 guys that could start for them.

QB and UT are more pressing needs. Brohm, Ellis, Booty, and Moore are all still available. I would take any of them in that order.

Actually He could play any LB Position. He'd be just as good at WLB or SLB.

O well then the pick isn't a good one because we have Antonio Pierce that plays it. Unless we would plan for the future, I don't see that pick being logical.

He could play WLB, MLB, or SLB.

He has the size, Speed, Frame and instincts to play all 3.

It would give you a scary LB Core..

WLB: James Laurinaitis
MLB: Antonio Pierce
SLB: Mathias Kiwanuka.

he played OLB at first but then moved to MLB the move him around he plays MLB, WLB, and SLB. SO as Mr. Stiller said we would hve a scary LB core
SLB= Kiwi
MLB= Pierce
WLB= Laurinaitis

Kiwi isn't fast or explosive enough to play WLB. He'd be more of a SLB.

The Packers drafted Brandon Jackson in the 2nd this year, so I don't see running back being a 1st round need.

17. Broncos- Ray Rice,RB,Rutgers

This pick stunned me a bit. The Broncos know they can put in just about anyone at RB and have success, not to mention they signed Travis Henry. I just don't see the need here.

Very good mock overall. Bravo.

Jackson and Manningham are both too high IMO. Top 10 is a possibility, but smallish wideouts rarely go top 10 and when they do(Ted Ginn), people are upset about it. I don't think that Campbell will go to the Cards because they are running a 3-4 now, and frankly I don't think that's his best fit. Even as a diehard Texas fan, Frank Okam is too high. Brian Brohm is a bad pick for the Dolphins, they passed on Brady Quinn last year, they wouldn't go Brohm this year and they drafted John Beck last year as well in the 2nd. Slaton isn't the best fit for Houston, he's a shifty runner, but our scheme calls for a larger, more north-south runner. A tackle, WR, S, CB would all be better. Sam Baker to the Bills doesn't make so much sense as he's weak in the run game and they need a stud RT, as Duke Preston is somewhat of a liability in that department. Ravens don't really need another tackle or lineman in the upper rounds after they got 3 young players this offseason(Gaither, Grubbs and Yanda). Chris Long would be a more logical pick there.

I don`t think it was the smallish wideout issue as much as it was the fact that Ginn is a very unpolished product who is likely to take a few years before making an impact in the receiving game. The only reason he went that high was because of the return aspect of things. Jackson and Manningham are both too high, yes, but they are much more polished receivers than Ginn.

31. Bears- John David Booty,QB,USC

Has been stated but if the Bears are drafting a qb we wont be that high. But since you have us drafting a QB you must think the Bears arent going to the Superbowl and that Grossman will flop. If that's so then I would like Andre Woodson.

Positions of most likely need: OT, OG, S, DT
Oh and add QB if you dont think Grossman can cut it. (some guys would be Andre Woodson (my fav), Colt Brennan, JDB, Sam Keller, and Chad Henne)

Some first or 2nd rd guys

OT: Tony Hills Texas, Barry Richardson Clemson, and Kirk Barton Ohio State
OG: Will Arnold LSU, John Luigs Arkansas
S: Tierre Green Nebraska, Courtney Green Rutgers, Anthony Schriotto Penn State
DT: Sedrick Ellis USC, Demario Pressley NC State, Andre Fluellen Florida State

WR is a possibility for BPA, Marcus Monk Arkansas, Malcolm Kelly Oklahoma, and Pat Turner USC

thanks to -Black for the rankings.

I think if Grossman bombs this year you could definately see the Bears drafting one again in the first round. No reason why not. I also don't see Booty as a bad fit at all.
