He made it very clear on yesterday's show that he's NOT taking the Price is Right job, so....

I think John O'Hurley (Mr. Peterman in Seinfeld) is a front-runner for the price is right job, I think. He'd be a good replacement, IMO.

Who cares. He hasn't done anything good for ESPN since Sportscenter about 10 years ago.

I don't like Patrick very much, his ego is ridiculous and he's a douche bag. If you think Kornheiser is smug, go and watch Patrick drool all over himself and how "slick" he is.

Doesn't he do Family Feud right now?

Dan Patrick has one of the best shows on the radio. He gets so many exclusive interviews, it is ridiculous. I'm usually not a great judge on sportscasters, but Dan Patrick has always impressed me. Some questions he asks I'm just like "Wow, normal guys wouldn't ask that." He's not afraid of offending his guests and asking the tough questions, and usually it leads to A LOT of new information.

When I listen to him it seems he has no idea what he is talking about. I've never really heard him do interviews but maybe he should just stick to that then.

Actually, if you'd have listened to the show, he was hyping up some big announcement he's going to make and said that it is not the Price is Right thing. So now the annoncement is going to the Price is Right? Yeah, that happens ALL the time...

Wilbon and Kornheiser are very unimpressive to me. They created and cultivated a great show with PTI, but they aren't as legendary as Dan Patrick for his work on SportsCenter or even his radio work on ESPNRadio. I respect Patrick a great deal.

Heck everybody on ESPN radio is good (except for John Seibel he's a moron)

I think ESPNRadio is the most consistently decent part of ESPN. I like the website as well, but even that is a little too gimicky anymore. ESPN Radio is usually solid. My only complaint is the long commercial breaks.

I listen to the show quite often.. His guest lists are great. Steroids and cheating gets annoying. Keith Olberman is always interesting even though he really only talks baseball, controversey, politics at a high rate. He makes steroids and other things like that more interesting than when Patrick discusses them by himself. His long pauses get annoying. Talking by himself gets annoying. But his interviews are almost always good and his guests are entertaining. Kinda gets by on his name recognition sometimes.

I had been wondering what he was gonna do. He misses a lot of shows and only covers the NBA ABC weekend games and playoff games these days. I don't know what their gonna do to replace him. Maybe move Cowherd into that slot?. Here in Chicago hopefully they give somebody else that time slot. We've got a couple guys on the bench that deserve consistent shifts.
