Ugh. Vomit.
I'm also wholly sick of all this tool love. yes i look to you ERU.
i'm glad you had a fantastic time, i just can't stand the thought of them.
They're overrated like radiohead. and that irritates me.
Like nervous tic irritation.
Gogol Bordello is crazy stuff for sure.
I also don't really see the purpose of the thread.

Bands that influenced yet get not love:
Hoover - Lurid Traversal of Route 7
Sunny Day Real Estate - Diary
Heroin - Heroin

Quicksand - Manic Compression
Moss Icon - Lyburnum Wits End Libation Fly

Well then don't listen to them, but I'm still gonna tell people how awesome they are because IMO they are awesome. They've been one of my favorite bands since the first time I heard "Sober" when I was in like 5th or 6th grade, and I just finally saw them live for the first time where the cemented their place as my favorite band. I'm sorry that you don't like them, because you're missing out big time on an absolutely amazing band, that couldn't possibly be overrated because nothing else rates when you compare it to Tool. And just for you........

I can give some "extreme"(Ridiculous term, I know) metal recommendations if anyone wants them. I know a ton of good doom/sludge bands if anyone here is into that time of thing.
