no doubt it is Trindon Holliday if he plays this year. He might not play football this year, but if he does the 10.02 he ran in the 100 meters in one of the heats in his most recent race speaks for itself.

I'd say Holliday then Jamaal Charles.

Whoever the fastest person is, I bet that his stock will rise quick when he has the fastest 40 time at the combine.

Then, be a bust for not being good at football. Because after you run a fast 40, Doesn't matter what you did on the field.....

Who do you guys think will be the fastest guy who could actually have a future in the NFL???

Personally I think it's DeSean Jackson.

Percy Harvin's combo of speed, agility, and acceleration have to be considered.

And a lesser known guy is Travis Shelton WR/KR of Temple. Another track guy with 4.24 speed. In 6 games last year he led the nation with 196.7 total yards per game. Looks like a good prospect as a return man.

no, Clowney was projected a 3rd round pick after his combine but fell to the 6th round.

But at the same time Yamon Figurs was what a third rounder.

Holliday from LSU. Guy is unreal. I also wouldn't take exception to Justin King from Penn State, DeSean Jackson of Cal and Percy Harvin of Florida.

Yea Figurs busted a 4.30, Clowney IIRC was a 4.32 or 4.34

Also, Figurs was a known ST demon, and so had enough value to be taken in the 3rd and could be given time to try to develop into a receiver, or at worst be a gunner with 4.3 speed that already knows the position

Timmy Brown has to be up there. He's a smurf with blazing speed.

5'5 160

For his sake he needs to concentrate on track.

5'5 160

For his sake he needs to concentrate on track.

Why? It's not like there's huge money in track for most people. At least with football, he could carve out a nice college career and have a good time.

Holliday is the fastest but a guy that should get some consideration is Derrick Williams from Penn State.

But, if he wants to have a chance at being great at a respective sport, he has the best chance at track. He has little to no chance to play in the NFL. Too small for WR and RB. A return man at best unless he packs on some muscle. It's not like being 5'5 prevents having a good build, he could easily be 180 and have excellent speed. Maurice Jones Drew is a bowling ball at 5'7 215.

I know that every knows how fast Hester is but his speed on the opening kick off is possibly the fastest I've ever seen someone run in a game.

Personally I think it's DeSean Jackson.DeSean Jackson is not big enough. Ted Ginn pt 2. Will never be a true #1.

Jacoby Ford might be faster than Holliday.

Doubt it.

People put too much into 40's.

Holiday runs a 10.02 100 meters. Name anyone else in CF who could run that?

Jesus did you see Sean Taylors kick return at 1:30? Wow...

Hesters KR was ridiculous as well he covered the middle 60 yards of the field in what seemed like 3 seconds lol.
