You should have said EA Sports.

But by sales it is that lifestyle simulation game called, "The Sims".

FIFA is up there as well, not great in terms of realism, but so damn fun and addicting. Plus games are only 20 min as opposed t an hour for madden

I'm not really a fan of their NBA and college basketball games. 2K is better when it comes to basketball.

Are you really playing right now?

As for baseball, 2K7 def. has some potential...it looks pretty but, it doesnt play all that well. You work out a few kinks in the gameplay and add playable minor league teams and you'll have the greatest ever.

Ultima Online no question... (I'm not sure if EA originally developed it, but it has control of it now, and it's lost it's touch, but back when it was made it was the funnest I've ever had playing a game.)

Truer words have not been spoken.

If anyone wants to use MVP 05 with current MLB and minor league players, you can buy a roster file on eBay. It works very nicely.

Madden 04 was by far the best Madden game. Every year since has not been able to top the revolutionary advances that they made in that game. From Owner Mode, to the soundtrack, it was perfect.

Can't argue with that. Introduction of "playmaker" that year right?

On a sports forum obvious all the games will be sports....

But UO was the most revolutionary game of all time. EA did not create it though, in fact they destroyed it. The company Origin was founded by Richard Garriot who had an idea to unite individual players into an online world where anything could happen. But once Origin was bought out by EA, the game started to decline. And after Garriott(the creator) was released the game has plummeted and has since never recovered.

One of the many reasons why I dislike EA.

Jeremy Roenick, in that game, could possibly have challenged Bo Jackson for greatest video game athlete. Well, let me rephrase that. If Bo Jackson wasn't the most incredibly ridiculous video game athlete ever and was miles ahead of everyone, Roenick could give him a run.

Yea he's serious, there's a group of 4 or 5 of us that are playing it right now. It's holding me over until NCAA comes out.

I loved rolling out my fat guys and crushing my opponents. That was fun.

You are thinking of Ice Hockey. Every player was either fat and slow, medium size with medium speed, or small and fast, and they all looked like Mario. Blades of Steel had the fight thing where you pressed A or B for body or head punch, it had actual NHL teams, and you controlled the goalie by simply pressing up or down. And the intro went........BLADES.. OF STEEL...KACHINK

As far as a sports franchise, Madden obviously owns, MVP is awesome (Triple Play sucked, High Heat owned in that era), but as far as just being pure fun to play, it has to be hockey. Those hockey games are the funnest sports games around. Does anyone else remember the year when where if you forechecked someone they did a backflip, and you could score 99.9% of the time if you did a wrap around. And easily the best part about the hockey games is skating all over the ice just checking the sh!t out of everyone and when they finally call a penalty you're like, "That's BS"
