View Full Version : TV Shows That Should Have Never Been Canceled

Paul

My list:

Futurama - I mean come on. One of the better animated series of all time IMO

The Black Donellys - Never even got a chance to grow an audience. Acting and storyline were great.

Fastlane - A bit cheezy at times, but action was great and had some funny moments. Entertaining

Arrested Development - Genius. Great Characters and writing.

Agreed to Arrested Development and Futurama

Agreed to Fastlane only if it moved to HBO/Showtime and they could show Tiffani Amber Theisen nude

Definitely Arrested Development and The Black Donellys as far as recent ones go.

Whatever happened to Dream Job? ESPN should make another one, that show was actually pretty interesting, much more so than the other stuff they air.

Dee Brown is the man.

Hall has actually done pretty well for himself. While he doesn't anchor SC, he is frequently on College Football Gameday.

I do like Dee Brown as well. The one guy who you NEVER see is the second DJ winner, Dave Thomas (no, not the founder of Wendy's). I never liked him during the show and was pissed when he won. I thought he was horrible. Well, I guess ESPN did too because I haven't seen him since he won.

I hear Futurama is supposed to pick up two years after the last season they had...so I guess, there are gonna be a bunch a flashbacks and such. 16 new episodes...yay...I'm not sure if it's a one and done kind of thing though, it may just be a final send off.

His name is actually Dave Holmes (no, not the old MTV guy). Coincidentally, though: Holmes got onto the show by being one of the two Wendy's Wild Card Winners

I hated the Seinfeld ending, it was a good episode and all but it was more of a cliffhanger into a new season. Same with Frasier's, though it was still my favorite show. I know they were both "finales" but they should've had a proper send off.

JBond hit the nail on the head with Sports Night.

full house

Saved By The Bell's finale should have been Screech showing up at the school with an AK-47 and going Colombine. It seemed like they were building four years of shows to that big moment where Screech finally loses it and kills everyone. Sucks it never happened.

Arrested Development is still my favorite show on TV. It was supposed to be picked up by Showtime but that never went anywhere i dont think. The characters were great and all were great character actors. The cameos by Ben Stiller and Judge Reinhold are unforgettable.

As for Sports Night, it was a great show. And I have no idea why it was canceled. Aaron Sorkin got Studio 60 though.

To add a new one, Arliss.

I wasn't really a fan but, it's been bothering me. What was the name of that George Bush show on comedy central? Not Lil' Bush the one before it a while back.

That's My Bush
