I decided to move this to off topic because we got barely any votes in the fantasy thread. If anyone has a serious beef with it they can ask a mod to move it I guess. Anyway the concept was to create a concert with one song from the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and 00's and try to create a concert with those songs.

So which one would you want to see more?

Contestant: Wo_ot88

Concert Name: NFLDC at Wembley

Location: Wembley Stadium, England

Order in which the songs will be performed:

1- Rage Against the Machine - Bulls On Parade
2- Pink Floyd - Another Brick in The Wall
3- Jimi Hendrix - Voodoo Child
4- Red Hot Chili Peppers - Dani California
5- Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody

Explanation of why you picked the songs and the order:

1- Rage Against the Machine - Bulls on Parade - Amazing song by an amazing band. This one gets you pumped. Perfect way to start this thing.

2 - Pink Floyd - Another Brick in The Wall - Pink Floyd is a must. This song is a classic. All I can say is : Enjoy

3 - Jimi Hendrix - Voodoo Child - People just gets crazy when they hear this song. Jimi Hendrix = Best Guitarist of all-time. He is definitly a great performer.

4- Red Hot Chili Peppers - Dani California - Good song by a great band. This is one of those songs that will stay in your head all day long.

5 - Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody - The perfect way to close a concert. Classic song that everybody can sing. Freddie Mercury is an entertainer and you know when he's on the scene. Slow Beginning but hell of an ending by Queen.

Contestant: BrownsTown

Concert Name: The BTown Rock Fest-Stock

Location: Yasgur's Farm, in Bethel, New York. Site of original Woodstock.

Order in which the songs will be performed:
1. Europe - Final Countdown
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ASisLT5XHtg
2. Fuel - Hemorrhage (In My Hands)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EM6_Jlk6Reg
3. Green Day - Basket Case
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W8Y3qDDODT0
4. Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_mNjd-hnxbs
5. The Beatles - Hey Jude
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YXG83p2nkHw

Explanation of why you picked the songs and the order:

What I was going for this concert was to showcase the best songs from each genre of rock.

1. Europe - Final Countdown - This is Hard Rock with a technoish keyboard feel to it, and of course one of those songs that just gets you pumped, which makes it a good way to start.

2. Fuel - Hemorrhage (In My Hands) - This is Modern Rock, sort of alternative. Lots of Guitars and emotional lyrics, this is one of those songs you always love hearing on the radio.

3. Green Day - Basket Case - This is the absolute perfect form of Punk Rock, performed by one of the premier punk bands ever.

4. Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven - This is a softer song by a heavy rock band, but Zeppelin of course, never grows old. This song may have the best guitar solo EVER.

5. The Beatles - Hey Jude - The perfect example of classic rock, and also the perfect way to end a concert, the crowd can sing along to the Na-na-na-na's at the end. This is a meaningful song and my personal favorite of one of the greatest bands to ever play.

Again, if anyone has a serious beef with this being here, ask a mod to move it. I just wanted to get more opinions, because that's kinda what this was about.

How do we have 5 votes and only 2 views? Either I'm bad at math, or that's not possible.

I thought Green Day was one of those emo bands.....

Also, the music selection is slim at best.

Back in the 90's they weren't. Now they are, and it sucks. Back in the 90's they did some great punk rock.

BTown gets the greatest band of all-time and quite possible the greatest song of all-time. Though the opening seems a bit shakey, I think his concert flows better.

The fact that these are supposed to be live gives my vote to Wo_ot. While Brownstown's concert may flow a little better, I can't bring myself to say that I would rather see Europe, Fuel, or Green Day over amazing live performers such as RATM and Jimi Hendrix.
