Pretty sweet we didn't have to give up a pick for him. Has been told he will play on the left side, not sure whether it will beat tackle or guard. I doubt he'll see any serious time, maybe a blocking TE like Seubert last year.....but I doubt he'll be put on the practice squad because a bunch of teams went after him in FA.

They definitely needed OL help.

We really needed guard help?

The loss of Petitgout won't hurt this team that much.

But that doesn't mean we're set on the line, because we're not at all. Diehl and Seubert on the left side will be good, not great though. If we could keep at Diehl at LG and get a stud at LT (Jake Long is my favorite 2008 prospect) we'd have an awesome line.

Pilller is our backup G right now and he isn't anything to brag about. Lentz is raw and may not be able to hack it in the NFL....Patrick will be valuable next year.

good for them, i usually root for the giants when they aren't playing my Bears

yea but now we have three project O-Lineman, Patrick, Whimper, and Koets. I really think Whimper will be a starter next year IMO

This was a nice pick up for them. He has athletic tools to work with. A lot more people looked at him as a guard, but I think he could might be able to develop at LT as well.
