what sport people/moment should be made into a movie

i say kurt warners carrer he went from stocking shelves to becoming one of the best quarterbacks in the nfl

I think Kurt Warner himself is actually very boring. Unless he somehow does something else off the field and away from the NFL, I don't see his "story" becoming much of anything.

I would like to see a movie about Jimmy Johnson and Jerry Jones building the early 1990's juggernaut Cowboys. There was a lot of drama over those years. Could be an interesting flick.

Bill Simmons also scripted out the Hollywood-esque series of events with the NBA ref points-shaving scandal. I'd definitely go see that movie.

A double feature on Mathias Kiwanuka and Tamba Hali. Kiwanuka went from Ugandan royalty before fleeing the country during Idi Amin's coup, coming to Indianapolis of all places and Hali escaped war and turmoil in Liberia. And they both became first round DEs.

The TV show "Beyond the Glory" is basically this thread in a nutshell. So many great stories. Mike Tyson is beyond interesting and one of the best I've seen. I think the episode was actually nominated for several awards.

If Rick Ankiel makes it back to the Bigs, he'll either get:

1)-An Outside the Lines Episode
2)-A SportsCenter Cameo
__________________________________________

Chris Coste will get his own movie, his story is just too good to pass up.

Josh Hamilton is set for a Lifetime TV Movie, he's got everything you want. All he needs is to either beat his woman or get shot.

and they complain about piracy...
I should try to find this article I read again, it was a huge poll that was done asking why people don't go to the movies and 'Piracy' was the lowest on the list. The highest was 'Other people in the theatre' and I think number two was 'Price'. So my assumption is that theatres are charging so much because 1) they can because people still seemingly go even though it's 10 bucks and 2) because not as many people are going.

How about Mark Perry wrestler from Iowa. His dad and uncle are wrestling royalty, he leaves Oklahoma at 15 to go to Blair academy, he doesn't go to the school his uncle coaches at and were his dad used to coach at. In the national finals against Oklahoma state(the college were his uncle and dad coached at) Johnny Hendricks, Marks record was 0-7 against him. Mark is down 2 nothing then pulls him back into a crab ride tilt, one of the best finishes of the tournament and beats him. It is a great story but it won't happen because nobody really cares about wrestling.
