Any chance that the contract dispute with Asante is resolved before training camp or the veterans begins? Or is he really going to go through with a long holdout?

There hasn't been too much news since the deadline a week or so ago, but it looks like a holdout is in store.

not really anything important, but i guess its something to keep your fingers crossed for, i think hed be smart to just sign the contract and play out the season.

New England newspapers are reporting that Asante Samuel is in Foxborough and signing his 1 year tender today. Bad news for the rest of the AFC.
