I work for HRSDC, a branch of the Government of Canada. Specifically, I work for Program Research & Innovation in Active Employment Measures.

I'm also a Business student. No concrete plans for when I graduate as of now. I could go a lot of different directions.

Currently, I underwrite professional liability insurance. Basically, my company ensures Boards of Directors and company officers against management malpractice claims. Looking to further my career, I'm currently interviewing around the industry and with consulting firms.

I worked at a Nike Retail Outlet last summer. That job sucked. Granted I was in the stockroom and didn't have to deal with customers (which was nice) it was boring and me and all the college guys were getting paid less than the high schoolers because we were going to be leaving at the end of the summer (which, once we found that out, caused us to stop working hard... in fact, we ended up doing the minimum and it wouldn't matter because they would still give us 35 hours a week).

I'm a Resident Manager up at school, basically a promoted RA and instead of advising a group of students on one floor, I hire students to work at the front desk. I supervise them, facilitate the security of my building and make sure the desk is a resource for all students.

I have one more year of college, then a year of Grad. School. I'll have my Masters in Education and hopefully start teaching high school students soon :)

I work at Burger King.
Lovely.

My brother worked there for a summer. It really encouraged him to go to college and get good grades. It worked very well. We stop by once in a while and there are people still working there that worked with him 4 years ago. Kind of sad.
