maybe not thread worthy but what happenned to him?? I remember him calling a press conference to say he got cut but then I never heard him officially getting cut, but then I read stuff saying DJ Williams will be moving into the MLB spot after Al Wilson got cut...But I havent heard a word about him signing anywhere or even rumors of teams showing interest in him. Whats the deal?

I believe he failed a physical because of a neck injury. If he rehab's well I think NYG or Carolina Should Pounce on him...

I know I'd want him in Pittsburgh if he can stay Healthy

He would take Farriors spot and Farrior would slide to RILB IMO.

I didnt mean realistically I meant that he is the type of player I would want on my team.

I would realistically want him.

I think Adding him in the middle would make our 3-4 Monstrous. Though I don't know where Foote or Timmons would fit in until either Farrior or Wilson retired.

Though I think Wilson would be a huge upgrade over Foote.. he would train Timmons until Farrior retires.

We still need Tommy Blake.

Blake ~ Farrior ~ Wilson ~ Woodley..

that would be killer.

Haggans and Harrison rotating in,

Were fine.

I agree.. but if you have a chance to add a great talent like Wilson, at a modest price.. I don't see why we shouldn't add him over Foote who can work in behind Wilson at SILB... where Farrior and Timmons can Work at WILB.

We could use him and release Derek Johnson already.

After the injury, and at his age, is he still a starter?

how old is he?

he's only 30.. look how old Zach Thomas is...

Lewis is 32
Farrior is 32
Thomas is 34
Edwards is 34

If he's healthy and his play hasn't trailed off much you should still be able to get 3-4 years out of him.. likely starter.

Speaking of Donnie Edwards he is really overated.

Kind of funny because in the San Diego-New England playoff game last year, he was the best linebacker I saw at least on the Chargers team. He played better than any other player on the defense in my opinion. I think he's underrated.

Carolina has:

Dan Morgan, John Beason and Thomas Davis

Backups: Diggs, Anderson, Seward, Shaw.

We're fine at linebacker.

Cuncussion Prone Dan Morgan = ILB
Contingency plan Al Wilson = ILB

to me that wouldnt be a bad thing... morgan going down is an anual event.. and he plays a position where he sticks his head into a lot of contact

Giants might take another look if Kiwi has to be moved back to DE
