What colleges w/o NCAA football teams do you want to see get one. FIrst of all, im happy Old Domminion is getting one, and I'd be pretty happy to see George Mason get one, but I doubt it

I'm not sure.

But Arkansas State has awesome uniforms. They deserve to be a better program.

I think long beach state has enough national exposure now to deserve a team.

plus, think of the long beach poly-long beach state connection, although, teams like USC, UCLA and CAL might be upset about losing recruits.

Hampton and Cal-Poly seem to always have big time prospects so probably one of those two teams.

Cal State University of Monterey Bay..

HUGE Football county in Monterey. If they would have started a team 50 years ago.. They'd be yearly around the top. ;)

LOL, if that's the case, they should all just go to CAL.

Long Beach State used to have football, but they dropped football back in 1992. They played in the old Big West Conference.

Definitely St. Johns.

St.John's also used to have football, but they dropped the sport back in 2002.

I have a few ideas. One would be Wisconsin-Green Bay. Green Bay is an area that loves football, and the university is of good size where they could support a D1 or D1AA team. They could get into the Gateway if they went 1AA or possibly the MAC if they went to D1.

Another would be Gonzaga. They are in a region of the country that has alot of football talent, and they could draw kids from California, Oregon, and Washington. They could start out in the Big Sky in D1-AA, and then look to move up to the WAC or MWC if they went to D1.

Why start them on such a high level

I'm just happy to finally see my Ducks bring back Baseball after a 27 year hiatus. Too bad we'll be cellar dwellers for the foreseeable future.

No. He's a senior this year. Last I heard, he was leaving early to come back to Eugene. His little stint didn't go too well. I'm not mad at him though. I would have took the fat check too.

edit- yeah here's a link

And here's dumbass Oregonian writer John Canzano overreacting to Bellotti's comments on the matter-

Cal State Fullerton would be pretty sweet. They already have a Baseball team that's always in Nebraska they could probably be pretty good in Football.

(sigh) no I'm saying they have an excellent Baseball Program so they may'be able to do that in Football.

Completely irrelevant.

Duke has a great basketball team, shouldn't they be good at football?

It's a process there slowly building up. You don't become a powerhouse over night.

Cal state university monterey bay would be great because the school is on the verge of quadrupling in size, its a beautiful area that would be enticing to recruits and as said before monterey county football is very big in california. CCS is probably top 3 or 4 highschool divisions in all of California. Palo Alto who lost the medium school state playoffs is from ccs and so is palma who tied De La Salle right after Bellvue beat them.

Another university that would be good is chico state university. Butte Community college (in chico) is in the top of california JC football year in and year out.
