so you don't think the WR from japan makes the team

I think if he does Rossy is gone, if we keep him it will be as a return guy.

fixed wiht today's cuts/signings.

We signed this guyhttp://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/cb/tonyfranklin.html
and an O Lineman called Ben Franklin, neither of which will make the team IMO.

Datish (according the AJC) was placed on IR shortly after being cut, he broke his wrist on Thursdays practice

Datish was cut... he was playing like **** and then broke his wrist. so they waive/injured him.

Looks like Alexander has the backup Center position secured then.

According to the AJC: expect Laurent Robinson to edge out Roddy White on the depth chart.

08-07-2007, 10:39 PM
Gotta love that...kinda...

I've been hearing good things about Roddy, but maybe that just means Robinson is THAT good.

Not that it matters without a decent QB...

I really think that Harrington is going to be better off than most people think. But I think it depends solely on our offensive line. He's never been protected very well, but occasionally when he did get protection he's had some monster games, 400+ yards in a game last year. I think in this wide open offense he can still be successful.

The most pressing thing for the Falcons this year is our defense. If our defense can play up to their potential, we can win more games than we thought, but we have some rookies out there, so we'll just have to see. If Jamaal and Houston step it up and play like they are capable right away (that's a HUGE if) then our defense could be REALLY nasty. Cause Jimmy is going to be a monster at FS, and with that pass rush of Abe and Anderson...it could be awfully fun to watch =)

I thought Datish was a steal. That's disappointing.
