Wrong forum, but anyone the Giants will not be the worst team in 07 and unless Sam Baker suffers a stroke on the playing field, he will not fall to the 32nd pick.

Switch Sam Baker and Barry Richardson. Lowery is an interesting pick there, can definitely see Goff, Ellis and Hall going there as well.

1) good Falcons pick
2a) horrible pick. we have no need for a UT... we need a NT if we even go DT but more than likely we get OT Gosder Cherilus here...
2B) we have Houston's pick

Is he a top 10 lock similar to how Marcus McNeil, Jon Scott, and Eric Winston were all top 10 locks before their senior seasons? I'm not suggesting he will fall, but you can't pencil anyone into a range before the season starts. Tons of players each year rise and fall.

Dorsey is a nice pick and would present good value but I'm not so sure about Henne.

Exactly. Its not neccessary a guarantee he is a top 10 lock.

Barry Richardson fits alot better for the Dolphins as they play man-man blocking correct? I would think Barry fits better in the Dolphins scheme as a nasty blocker.

They said that about Eric Winston and Marcus McNiel both ended near the bottom of the 2nd.

You forgot to give the Colts their 2nd rounder, you still have it as San Fran's

They said that about D'Brickashaw Ferguson and Joe Thomas, both ended up in the top 5.

And seriously? Marcus McNiel? We all know he didn't fall for lack of talent.

Yes McNiel fell because had a back injury. And I don't believe you are totally making that.

The talent of level between the two negates that. Baker would fit fine in our system and is a much better pass blocker which is needed. If Carey works out then we won't need a top notch pass blocker, but if Carey works out I doubt we're taking a OT in the first round.

1. Eh. Not a huge fan, but I could see why we take him.
2. Not a good pick. See Scar's comment.
3. Not a big fan of the pick. Rice won't be leaving college early and he's not exactly what we are looking for. We need a power back.

Revised, I like...

1. Jake Long, OT Michigan
2a. Chad Henne, QB Michigan
2b. Jonathan Stewart, RB Oregon/ Vince Hall, MLB Virginia Tech/ Quentin Groves, DE Auburn/ Derrick Williams, WR Penn State/ BJ Raji, NT Boston College

A lot of options.

Just to point out, it's Mario Manningham, not Marion Manningham. Unless you're an Ohio State fan of course, then the slip would make perfect sense to me.

Like the 1st rounder, would prefer a CB in the 2nd.

The Titans first round pick is great.

The second round pick could be a lot better. While our OT's aren't big names, they are young and have played well for the past two years. So there's not a need for an OT, but we may have a need at OG. OG, after WR, is our only offensive need. Defensive needs would be any spot on the DL, and CB.

Not a fan of Laurinaitis to Pittsburgh because I think he would play where Larry Foote does (RILB).. we need a LILB and I think Maualuga fits that bill.

Or A premier pass rusher.. it's too up in the air at this point because no one knows that they're planning on doing with Lawrence Timmons.

If he stays outside I would Suggest Maualuga
If he goes inside I would suggest Blake/Gholston

It's hard to Gauge the steelers.. I need to see who they re-sign of Starks, Simmons, Kemoeatu and Faneca to say whats next.

Dan Connor at #9? Not buying that at all.

I think the Lions would be more likely to take the CB in rd1 (Cason) and then the MLB in rd2 (Vince Hall) instead of how you have it.

reading this draft I had the strong desire to hit you. I just can't see us picking that high unless Eli, Osi and AP all get hurt, but w/e. And I really don't think we go RB in round 1, but McFadden is such a beast I would just cry from joy if we got him. Also in the second I don't think we take a LB that high. Kiwi's supposedly transitioning well and on the weak side Mitchell has been very good while Wilkinson still has a lot of potential. We have much bigger needs at CB, FS and UT, unless Alford, Webster and Butler all play exceptionally, which is unlikely since you think we will be terrible.

Good first round pick for the Vikes but I would have taken Martellus Bennett in the second. I think we have bigger needs than linebacker.
