Don't like the Jags pick.

12-29-2006, 02:28 PM
Colts pick is horrible. We have zero need at safety and Meriweather has character concerns, we dont take players that have questionable character.

What would you like me to do for those teams? I didn't really know what to do, so I looked at Scott's team needs, and gave a position that would soot the team best based on the needs list.

Glenn Dorsey for the Colts. I wouldn't change the Charger pick, I think its good.

Glen Dorsey heh? Sounds good, I change that ASAP.

the chargers have many more important needs than a sub-par WR

I gotta agree, Higgins is not a first round WR.

The Jets run a 3-4 and Pitcock can not play NT and I don't think he'd be a good DE there either. DE is our biggest need, give us Carriker.

Wow...as much as I like P Will and hate Ed Hartwell...it's not going to happen...Atlanta doesn't select a round 1 LB...prolly the last position we would even consider. Marshawn Lynch is the pick here

I didn't realize that the Jets ran a 3-4. I'll change that right away. I thkn I'll give them Carriker and give the Colts Pitcock.

12. Atlanta Falcons: Patrick Willis/LB/Ole Miss
horrible pick. we have ZERO need for a linebacker between Brooking, Boley, Williams, Hartwell, Beck and Reese. we need a S, DE or OT. we don't take OL i nthe first round so it is going to be a DE or a S here. Michael Griffin would be a good pick but then again the BPA of RB Marshawn Lynch wouldn't be bad either.

The Chargers are either going to take a speedy WR or an ILB(depth, age).

Their safeties are questionable on good days.

An ILB would make a lot of sense.

I could see them going WR as well with McCardell fading.

If they lose Dielman, an interior lineman may be the pick.

i dont like carricker bad draft, we can prob get carricker later if we really wanted him

I don't want Marshawn Lynch because he'd be a backup for at least a year behind Ahman, and I want to add missing pieces that will help starting right away.

We need one of the safeties to slip to us.

Or else take TED GINN there because he MIGHT become a great WR, but more likely he will be a deep threat and help with the return game.

In this scenario, I can see Teddy Ballgame trading down and adding a 2nd or 3rd round pick by moving down to the 20-28 range.

I disagree with you SterlingSharpe. If you haven't noticed, the packers run a multipal back sceme. If they were to incorporate Green as their main guy for a year and have Lynch as the third down back and use him in specialty downs, when Green leaves we can put Lynch in the main role. Thus filling a need that of the future.

As for the Ginn pick, I also disagree with you. Another short slot reciever that can't catch a pass is exactly what the Packers don't need. Ginn would be the worst possible pick in that scenario.

11. St. Louis Rams: Quentin Moses/DE/ Georgia

Too early for Moses, and the Rams need a DE that's going to contribute more against the run. Willis would be a better pick at this point.

Ok Titans pick, given that he is BPA and most of the top players on their board are gone. I for some reason have a feeling that Patrick Willis wouldnt be a bad pick either. He reminds me of Johnathan Vilma

Yea i agree. I would hate to see Ginn in a Packer uniform, because ginn never goes short. He always is catching long balls and with the speed of Safteys and corners in the nfl he wont be able to blow past em. I really like the Lynch pick, i really hope hes avalible for us. As for trading down, i wouldnt mind it but who do you think we could get?

I'm sorry you don't like Carricker. I had Pitcock, but someone complained about that and told me that the Jets would take Carricker in that situation. I don't know much about the Jets team, so I took his word for it.
