Very smart player that can make all the calls on the line. Extremely strong and plays with a very good base in the run game. Struggles in pass protection but more than makes up in the run game. Very quick and good at getting to the 2nd level.

So I just make a player????

SS
Andre Louis
6'3"
215
Color: Black

Physical force towards the line of scrimmage. Can lay the wood with the best of them. Impressive athleticism for his size, clocking a 4.51 40 yard dash and a 4.34 3 cone drill. Struggles to cover consistantly, but can make the big play. Overall, Louis is a physicaly impressive player who is most effective when used on a blitz or near the line of scrimmage, and while he can make the big play in coverage he gets beat too often, especially deep.

Position: QB
Height: 6'5
Weight: 210

Brief Description: Dyas is a pretty solid QB, he has all the measureables but does have his problems. For a big guy, he possesses an average arm and his accuracy is fine, but still improving. Has average mobility, can move when needed. Durability is great. Probably could use time on the bench.

Name: Dallas Carter
Position: HB
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 235 lbs
Hand: Right

A smaller player who's short stature isn't helped by his below average verticle when covering larger receivers. He makes up for this with very good speed, agility, and explosion. Great against the run, but his instincts are below average, and he is so agressive against the run, he can be fooled by play action. Has very good hands. The type of corner who will get a ton of tackles, some INT's, but will also be burned for big plays and has trouble against bigger receivers in the red zone. Great stamina, and rarely injured.

I challenge someone to create a WR, RB, or TE who's weakness is not blocking. Pretty much everyone has failed so far.

That's what I was thinking as well, although I wouldn't say people "failed". But then again, I know my CB is good against the run, weaker against the pass, and most of them seem that way too.

Ok, good 53 times would have been too much, but a 6'10 DT who weighs 365lb but none of it's fat and he still manages to run a 4.5 forty, who can out run and overpower blockers is totally realistic.

Vero Beach wins inaugural FBS game
Defeats Connecticut to 31-28 to start 1-0

Connecticut, 28 (0-1, 0-0)
Vero Beach, 31 (1-0, 0-0)

It was the first game in the history of Vero Beach University, and the Sharks got off to a fast start. Jon Martin returned the opening kickoff 76 yards for a TD and an early 7-0 lead for the Sharks. The Sharks' D would alos start out hot holding UConn to a 3 and out. Then the offense took over for the first time and it was a good start until QB Shane Falco was picked off by Glen Mourning, trying to get the ball to Lightning Lu. UConn would march downfield before being stopped in the red zone. It looked to be an easy FG for the Huskies but Andre Louis broke through the backfield to block the attempt, giving UConn another momentum boost. It definitely sparked something, as the Sharks rolled downfield, with Dallas Carter capping off the drive with a 2 yard touchdown run. UConn would not go down quietly though. On a 4th and 2 from near midfield, Larry Taylor found himself wide open on a play-action pass by D.J. Hernandez, a 39 yard TD, making the score 14-7. The Sharks, looking to regain some momentum, thought they were onto something, before Falco was picked off for the second time, this time by Danny Lansanah, and Lansanah took it the distance for a TD. However, Andre Louis, yet again broke into the backfield and this time blocked the extra point attempt, the score would remain 14-13 heading into the half.

UConn started off the half with a bang, on the second play from scrimmage, Donald Brown took into the house from 73 yards out on a toss play to the outside. He would then run in the two point convertion attempt to make it 21-14 UConn. The Sharks were not about to give up though, a nice drive downfield set up a 27 yard FG attempt by Art Vandelay, which he made with ease, despite the strong wind against him. After a stop on 3rd and short, the Sharks would get the ball back with good field position. After he was stopped for no gain the previous play, Dallas Carter broke a tackle in the backfield and from there it was smooth riding. A 58 yard run, his second TD of the day, and the Sharks were back on top 24-21. Another 3rd and short stop by the Sharks gave them the ball back. It looked like they were stopped, after two sacks of Shane Falco, facing a 3rd and 28, Falco found Christian Slider open behind the defense for a 52 yard pickup, setting up a 1st and Goal. The Sharks wasted no time, with Falco finding 3rd TE Legbo Donda open in the endzone for an 8 yard score giving the Sharks a 10 point lead with just under 3 to play. After a good return and a quick 1st down, UConn found the endzone once more, with Hernandez finding WR Brad Kanuch for a 26 yard score, amking it 31-28. UConn chose to kickoff downfield with 2:22 remaining and it proved to hurt them. The trio of Carter, Benn Hart and DeAndre Morrison were able to run the clock out, giving Vero Beach the victory, and a good start to the season.

Vero Beach holds off Virginia
Defeat Cavaliers 20-15, to improve to 2-0

Vero Beach, 20 (2-0, 1-0)
Virginia, 15 (1-1, 0-1)

It started slowly for both teams in this contest, with neither team scoring in the first quarter. Things got rolling early in the 2nd though, with Vero Beach's Jon Martin returning a punt 64 yards for a score, his 2nd return TD in as many games. Virginia would respons shortly thereafter, with Chris Gould hitting a FG from 46 yards out to make the score 7-3. After an impressive drive late in the half, Vero Beach found itself facing a 3rd and Goal from the 5. The snap came directly to RB Dallas Carter, who bulldozed his way over a would-be-tackler and into the endzone for the 5 yard score, making it 14-3 heading into the half.

Virginia scored quickly to start the 2nd half, with Jameel Sewell finding Mikell Simpson open for a 5 yard score. Slick Calhoun, however, was able to break into the backfield to block the XP, Vero Beach's 3rd blocked FG attempt of the year. Vero Beach would add a FG later on in the quarter, with Art Vandelay connecting from 45 yards out, making the score 17-9. With Virginia threatening in the red zone early on in the 4th quarter, Jovon Miller intercepted a Sewell pass and ended the drive for the Cavaliers. Virginia would get the ball back quickly though and waste no time in scoring. This time, Sewell found TE Tom Santi open and Santi took it in for the score. On the two-point conversion attempt, CB Simon Shlemon was able to stop Cedric Pearman at the one, keeping the score at 17-15. Virginia then attempted an onside kick, which was recovered by the Sharks' Carter Williams. After a quick series, Art Vandelay came on for another FG attempt, this time connecting from 47 yards out. With time running out for the Cavaliers, they took one more shot downfield, but yet again, Jovon Miller came up big for the Sharks, clinching the victory to start off 1-0 in ACC play.

Vero Beach survives scare versus Navy
Last second FG by Vandelay seals victory for Sharks

Vero Beach, 30 (4-0, 1-0)
Navy, 27 (1-3, 0-0)

You take away a couple red zone interceptions by Shane Falco, and this game is likely a blow out. However, Vero Beach was able to come back from a 4th quarter deficit of 11 points to take care of Navy 30-27. Besides the two interceptions, Falco was stellar, as was RB Dallas Carter. As Vero Beach, takes a four game winning streak into Miami next week.

Scoring Summary

1 yard run by D. Carter 14-0 VB
5 yard pass from Gross to Shinego 14-7 VB
