Interesting stuff Josh. I'm convinced he's going to be a big time player.

Rutgers picked up another RB today. Casey Turner who had committed to us and then decomitted to go to UNC has recommitted.

Jourdan Brooks is gone. He transferred last month to a smaller school. Look for Williams, Turner, and another Jawan Jamison to take the load this year. I think Martinek might just be a goal line back now. Jamison was another big recruit we got last week.

I totally missed that, but not surprised. It's a shame, he should've gotten much more carries than he did towards the end of the year. I'm not sure Schiano will turn it over to the freshmen just yet. I see Jersey Joe staying as our steady #1, but taking a lighter load. Our O could be deadly, with Savage and Sanu getting a year under their belts and this talented RB group, 2 pretty good TE's. It just depends who steps up opposite Sanu...and that we don't get obsessed with this wildcat. It's good, but if it gets over 10 plays a game, I won't be all too happy.

Giantsfan1080
02-03-2010, 11:15 AM
I agree with the WildCat. Savage is too good to run it that often. Also, WR will be fine. We have Harrison who started to come on at the end of the year and others who were waiting in the wings. Throw in Coleman and Deering from this year and we're set. I'm more pumped with the defense and how great our secondary is going to be. I can really see a special team in 2011 when Savage is a junior.

With the running back situation, everyone needs to remember Schiano's love of experience. While some may think that Martinek is just a goal line back( I do not), Martinek has experience so he will most likely get every opportunity to start and it probably will be his job to lose even if Schiano says its an open competition.

With regards to the future, our offense may very well suffer a bit this year with the loss of the majority of our O-line. Davis, Haslam, and Blaze are gone and the guys that will most likely step in are unknown quantities. Also, Timmy, our one deep threat is gone. I understand Sanu is great, but this year none of the highly touted guys stepped up to be the slot guy and next year we will need a slot and a number 2 across from sanu.

On defense, other than the loss of Mccourty, it should be fine if not better. Our depth on defense is fantastic with Abreu and Beauharunius being able to step in for Dimperio and Munoz. George Johnson's loss won't be such a big deal with Freeney really growing up last year and Silvestro being very solid if not a dynamic pass rusher. Even with the influx of young talent, I am a bit concerned about the secondary, but hopefully we have so many options, some will work out.

Giantsfan1080
02-03-2010, 12:02 PM
I like Martinek but I'm not sure if Schiano was happy with him. You're probably right though he will get the majority of the carries.

I think the line will take a step back but I like Forst and Ruch to really step it up this year.

I heard we moved Witherspoon to DE so it's going to be interesting to see if he can get on to the field.

Let's also hope guys like Rowe and Givens step up under pressure for us in the secondary

Don't forget about Logan Ryan who was one of the big recruits we got last year. The secondary has some serious young talent.

One player that I am really excited about in this recruiting class is Ken Kirksey, a DT from Florida. From what I have seen and heard about him, he seems like he could end up being a really disruptive force up front. Supposedly at around 285 he has 4.6 speed, so he is a really explosive athlete. If harnessed properly, he could be a beast.

Beauharnis is going to be a big time player also. He didn't get as much pub as Savage and Sanu but he was wrecking people on D.

Giantsfan1080
04-26-2010, 01:51 PM
Also, Corcoran to the Texans and Haslam to the Jaguars. Has Brown signed with anyone yet?

It's pretty accurate but I think RB and CB will be totally different a couple of games into season.

scottyboy
07-09-2010, 07:02 PM
yea that's a good depth chart, and as GF1080 said, if the young guys prove their worth and outplay the older guys, they'll take over. to start off the year, that looks like our lineup though

scottyboy
07-22-2010, 09:52 PM
i bought a red vuvuzela today. i really wanna bring it to games next year haha.
also, I want a Rutgers hard hat.
also, you all should come to lots of games, and lemme know! we can have real life meetings and you can hang at my apartment and party rutgers style!

Giantsfan1080
07-22-2010, 09:55 PM
Please don't bring it to the games haha, that's all we need. I'm debating buying season tix now that I have a real job but I'm not sure if I'll have as much extra money as I thought. I'll come watch away Ru games at your place though wink wink.

Sanu is going to establish himself as a future 1st round pick this year.

Hakeem Nicks part 2 is playing for the Scarlet Knights.

Giantsfan1080
08-28-2010, 02:09 PM
I've been on record since early last year that I think that Sanu and Savage are 1st rounders.

scottyboy
08-28-2010, 03:13 PM
keep an eye out for Lefeged this year. He's my guy like McCourty was last year. I think a great year for him can sky rocket him for the draft, someone I'd LOVE on the Giants, perhaps as a 4th rounder or so. Hard hitter, smart and great character guy and player, and a good return man too.

Giantsfan1080
08-28-2010, 03:34 PM
Lefeged can definitely boost his stock with a good year. Just glad RU football is back.

Hurricanes25
08-28-2010, 10:56 PM
Edmond Laryea could be playing on both sides of the ball.

I went to the same HS as he did so seeing him get a chance to finally contribute is pretty awesome.

I go to a basketball school so I'm kind of a basketball recruiting junkie but I'm starting to get into football recruiting and since I'm from Jersey I'm following Rutgers...but I'm having a hard time getting a feel for which players are actually interested in Rutgers and which ones have RU on their list but are major long shots. To this point I don't have a Rivals or Scout subscription (yet, I'm holding out as long as I can) and I've tried to find some blogs that focus on Rutgers football and would keep track of recruiting stuff but have failed to this point. Is there anything out there that anybody knows of?

Giantsfan1080
08-30-2010, 09:31 PM
Here you go derza. Let me know if you like it. I've never seen a better free recruiting blog for the NJ/NY area.

Speaking of basketball recruiting Rutgers just got the 33rd best player in the country and 7th best power forward. Mike Rice has done an excellent job so far. Great to see maybe a basketball program being built. Would love to see some March Madness from Rutgers.

Rice was a terrific hire, felt that way as soon as they got him. Kadeem Jack is a talented big guy, Myles Mack was a rock solid get as a point guard, and the wing they got from the DC area is pretty good two. Plus Derrick Randall is a good big guy and it's nice to work the Jersey pipeline because there's a lot of talent in state. Seems like assistant coach Cox does a tremendous job recruiting in the DC area with the 2011 wing and 2012 big Jordan Goodman I believe and he's a big part of that staff. Lots of talent coming into Rutgers next year, and they're on a lot of good lists right now which is always nice to see. I think Rice is going to build a really nice program.

Giantsfan1080
09-02-2010, 11:04 PM
Yeah I loved the Rice hire as well since he seemed like he was so hungry to get this program going. So far the results have been excellent and a lot of the high schools at the big Jersey prep schools endoresd the hire which was important. I hear we may be in line for another big player or two to round this class out. I'm loving the quotes from Jack as well saying he wants to be the player fans remember 50 years from now as the guy who started the program going. Very exciting stuff.

Giantsfan1080
09-02-2010, 11:05 PM
As for the football game I was not happy with the offense. We need to get that line straightened out ASAP.

scottyboy
09-03-2010, 09:28 AM
that was not very impressive at all. the most impressive things on O was Sanu's catch at the end of the half, Martinek's like 2-3 powerful runs, and DeAntwan at the end of the game

Giantsfan1080
09-03-2010, 05:06 PM
We need to get Jefferson involved in this offense. The kid's a monster and a perfect release for Savage. He's a huge mismatch against most LB's and S.

I swear, he's gonna boost his stock a lot, but very quietly, with leadership, hard work and special teams play like McCourty just did last year. He's not as high as McCourty on lists to start, but I think he can really get himself into the 4th/5th round area, in which I'd LOVE to grab him. He can return kicks and be our 4th safety that Jones was going to be for us.

I hope they get the O straightened because that game against UNC in 2 weeks will be rough if they don't.

Giantsfan1080
09-11-2010, 08:35 PM
The O-Line has been crap and the play calling has been even worse. Like you said they better get things straightened out real quick or we're going to get demolished.

Hurricanes25
09-22-2010, 07:52 PM
Starting FB Edmond Laryea is out for the season with a knee injury and Joe Martinek has a sprained ankle and will be limited against UNC. Not good news.

Giantsfan1080
09-22-2010, 08:18 PM
Ehh I don't know what to think about this team. Our offense should be average and our defense very good but our start has been terrible. Huge game against UNC Saturday.

Giantsfan1080
09-22-2010, 08:29 PM
I know we don't talk much basketball here but Mike Rice really is amazing. Rutgers B-Ball has a top 10 recruiting class right now. Incredible.

scottyboy
09-22-2010, 08:34 PM
Mike Rice is a boss.
also, the OL has a LOT of work to do and a lot to prove Saturday...i'm nervous.

Giantsfan1080
09-22-2010, 08:42 PM
The OL has been real bad but the real dissapointing player right now is Savage. I obviously have been hyping him big time but he's been bad against 2 teams that we should have rocked. Savage needs a big week against UNC.

Giantsfan1080
09-30-2010, 09:42 AM
Schiano is ruining the development of Savage with the Wild Knight. Listen I love love love Sanu but we are running that thing way too much. Savage has his confidence shaken now and things can get worse if Schiano doesn't cut it out. Also, look how gassed Sanu was against UNC because of how much he's in. It's good to run 5-7 times a game, nothing more.

scottyboy
09-30-2010, 09:52 AM
exactly, so so so stupd. let Savage get in a rythym. the outcome could be different on that last drive if Savage is in rhythym. oh, and once he throws a pick, it doesn't help his psyche at all if for the next series we just do Sanu wild Knight. so so so stupid. ugh

Giantsfan1080
09-30-2010, 09:58 AM
They better get things straightened out going into Big East play. Next year I think we have a chance to do some really good things but we need to start building it up this year.

Forenci
09-30-2010, 10:17 AM
How many times do you guys run the Wild Knight a game? I've always heard people say it affects a young QB's development at the NFL level (with Henne, for example) but I've never really bought into that.

At the college level I can see it though, since most QB's are so raw.

Giantsfan1080
09-30-2010, 10:21 AM
Against UNC Sanu ran the ball 15 times and passed out of it once. There were even more times where Sanu handed it off as well out of the Wild Knight but I'm not sure how many times that was but probably at least 5.

Forenci
09-30-2010, 10:30 AM
That's quite a bit. Still, you guys should win against UConn. We're pretty meh.

Glad we benched Frazer though. I swear, watching him throw the ball with his noodle arm and ugly release made me want to cry. Endres looked pretty solid though, so we'll see.

I'm hoping we just run it 50 times with Jordan Todman and Robbie Frey. We might stand a chance then.

Giantsfan1080
09-30-2010, 11:29 AM
We have a pretty good defense so I'm not sure if that will work. Scott Vallone is a beast. Frazier needed to go as you said with that limp arm of his as you said.

Alvin Cornelius (WR) is a Junior at the HS I graduated last year. I've seen him play a number of times and I could honestly say that this kid can ******* play. He'll be a 3* or 4* recruit next year. Most likely 4* but yeah, he is pretty good. I'm hearing that he's interested in Rutgers so we'll see.

Giantsfan1080
10-15-2010, 12:02 PM
I liked how Dodd looked last week but I just can't believe how we've ruined Savage already. I mean it's literally up there as one of the worst coaching performances I've ever seen. How to ruin a young upcoming QB by Greg Schiano and staff.

sounds awesome. I'll be sure to check out Shuler at the very least.

Also, I think it's time we start talking men's hoops in here. Mike Rice is an outstanding coach. Simple as that. We stuck right with Nova for a good portion of that game yesterday, despite being at a clear disadvantage in talent. With new talent coming in, I think we could really be something. I'm excited.

Also, any chance Huggins chooses Wednesday? any word which way he's leaning?

I've been watching all the basketball as well. When I went to RU we were a much better basketball team than football at that point so I loved the BBall teams. We were on the bubble a couple of times and upset tons of teams at the RAC. Rice definitely has the program back on the upside. I can't wait to watch the 7 FR next year.

Huggins is deciding on the 28th I believe. I think it's down to ND and Rutgers but everything I've seen so far says he's leaning towards us. Let's hope it happens. He'd be our best recruit ever pretty much.

scottyboy
01-09-2011, 09:06 AM
yea, schiano ****** the situation up, but the truth is, Dodd out played him. we need to forget savage and move on with dodd and realize we have a bunch of talent and a nice new OC. savage also seemed to not be able to handle this adversity and competition well.

Giantsfan1080
01-09-2011, 10:47 AM
Dodd blew also. Savage got hurt early in the year and then he never even got a real chance to get his job back. Also, when they did put him back in every other play would be that Wildcat bullsh*t. How is he supposed to play if he's taken out every other play. We had the highest rated QB that was ever here who loved the program. He was instrumental in getting other players here and just loved Rutgers in general.

Giantsfan1080
01-09-2011, 10:59 AM
Also Mike Rice got his first Big East win last night. He's doing some great work with a team that's really not that talented. Biruta had a big game. We're in very good hands.

NY+Giants=NYG

Not Schanio's fault. Savage should have seen this as an opportunity. New OC and new system, and this is your chance to work hard and try to win back your job. Instead, he throws in the towel and transfers to get a fresh start. That tells me a lot about a player. Why not stay and win back your job in a new system?

Giantsfan1080

After the way they treated him last year I don't blame him. They totally threw him under the bus and after he lost his job his injury he was never ever given a fair shot to win it back. Even when he did get some snaps they took him out most of the time for the WildCat. The OL sucked last year but that offense is still built to be a pro style offense and that's what Savage is built for as well. They have a ton of NFL sized WR's on the team yet they kept throwing that stupid offense onto the field. Schiano is a defensive coach yet he still meddled with the offense. Even in Savage's freshmen year the RU fans here were pleading to stop the Wildcat and let Savage develop into the QB we know he could have been. After all this Savage was not happy and I don't blame him that he wants a fresh start.

After the way they treated him last year I don't blame him. They totally threw him under the bus and after he lost his job his injury he was never ever given a fair shot to win it back. That's why I can't stand college football. There is no parity due to recruiting and bigger named schools getting most of the big named talent. After couple of those drafts that sent BL, Rice, Britt, and others to the NFL. This RU program is on empty. They need to rebuild and restock, and right now the offensive line needs to get better. That's a huge problem, and that's why you saw the Wild cat to deal with it.

Plus Dodd out played Savage and he has no where near the physical ability as Savage does. Savage had a shot to do some things, but then got hurt, and didn't win it back.

There is always adversity in football. Look at Rodgers sitting behind Brett F. Or Kolb behind Vick. There is a way of handling it and trying to fight back, and there is throwing the towel in. This is the best chance for Savage to try to win back his job in a new system implemented by a new OC. I don't agree with it.

that's why I think Savage is acting like a bit of a baby. deal with the adversity, battle with Dodd, and try to win that spot back. We have a good deal of offensive talent with guys like Sanu, Harrison, Wright, Thomas, Deering, Jefferson. Stay, get back to where you were as a freshman with this new OC and get it on track. Instead, he ran. Didn't deal with the competition, just left. Oh well, we'll have to see what the scrappy kid Dodd can do

The problem with Rutgers right now is Schiano can get some big players but we still don't have the depth of major football programs. Once those guuys leave to the NFL or graduate or whatever we usually don't have anyone that can step in right away and play at a semi-comparable level. Schiano is getting another good class so far this year but the depth issue is going to be a problem again at certain spots in the Fall.

I obviously didn't see Dodd and Savage at practice but Dodd was nothing special at all on the field besides the Uconn game. If you look at Savage's FR year and compare it to Dodd's FR year Savage was much more impressive.

You say the OL sucked and that's why we ran the WildKnight but that's also not true. When we still had Davis and a very good OL they started to implement that system. You have Sanu who is a major threat at WR and you put him the WildKnight and he gets hit so many times early in the year he was rendered useless. I'm glad Cignetti is here now and we can go back to a pro style offense and hopefully Schiano stays away and just focuses on the D once again. I wished Savage stayed because I still think he's a major talent but I don't blame him for leaving.

Who is Nova? Is he supposed to be a good QB prospect?

Who is Nova? Is he supposed to be a good QB prospect?

3* QB prospect from Don Bosco and 11th ranked pro style QB. He was committed to Pitt but with all the coaching changes there he re-opened his recruitment. Schiano doesn't have a good relationship with Don Bosco but one of the coached we poached from Pitt does, Jeff Hafley. Once we made that move it looked like Nova was going to come here and he has. This is going to end up as Rutgers best recruiting class ever most likely which is crazy considering the year we had.

NY+Giants=NYG
01-10-2011, 09:33 AM
So maybe Nova can develop and be a great player for us. We have Nova, Belemonte, and Dodd. Jefferson will develop as a TE, and Sanu is coming back and will be a beast.

The offensive skill positions are there especially at WR. WR is incredibly deep with Sanu, Harrison, Deering, Coleman, Wright, and Stroud. I could even name some more guys but they may have to move off the position. The O-Line should improve with more experience plus we have some JUCO's coming in that should help. If Dodd can step his game up we can be back to at least a .500 team next year with possibly more. There has been no continuity at QB since Teel left though so that's been one of the problems. If Savon Huggins comes to Rutgers as well we have ourselves the best player RU has ever recruited.

Teel was so underrated. I remember he used to frustrate me to know end. If we had a better QB we could have done damage. Now that he is gone, I appreciate him. Same with the OL and running game. But I knew Rice was a beast and proved it on the national stage for everyone to see.

Yeah that's how I feel about Teel as well. Just watching the games our offense could have been even better and it was already one of the best in the country. We're the only team ever to have a 3,000 yard passer, 2 1,000 yard WR's, and a 2,000 yard rusher. Teel threw a ton of high balls though and he wasn't very accurate during stretches of some games. If you look at the talent on those teams on both sides of the ball it's littered with NFL players all over. We should have been better I guess.

I found this interesting:

For the past three years I have been granted unfettered access to the Michigan football program, from the meeting room to the locker room, to write a book about what I've seen. I thought I knew college football, and particularly Michigan football, as well as anyone. But after three years of seeing everything up close, I can tell you this unequivocally: I had no idea.

If the tenure of Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez, who was fired Wednesday, looked chaotic to outsiders, it appeared positively crazy from the inside.
In this story, Bacon talks about how Michigan had offered the coaching job to Greg Schiano, but he turned it down, so they turned to Rodriguez. A source I have once told me that Schiano regretted that decision right after he made it and frantically tried to get back in on the Wolverines job, but it was too late. Rodriguez had jumped at it. I'm curious about whether things would have been different in the Big East and the Big Ten if he had taken it instead of Rodriguez.

Sorry Scotty not even Schiano is perfect. I mentioned that we got Nova earlier. Probably another reason why Savage left. Nova should compete with Dodd from Day 1 and he'd our new pro style offense much better. Last Bosco QB we had worked out pretty well also I'd say.

on a side note, in my NCAA dynasty, savage got hurt fpr season and Shimko came in and broke the record for QB rating...interesting. thought i'd share haha.
it's probably because I only let him throw like slants and easy throws and he only threw like 1 or 2 picks

That's mostly on offense though isn't it?

I heard he likes following the Jim Johnson (Dallas Cowboys Johnson) style of defense. Basically a lot of man coverage, smaller faster 4-3 with some blitzing. That would fit our defense.

I admit I haven't seen much of Rutgers the past 2 years, but I do remember seeing him run some good stuff.

Yeah the playcalling issue is more of an offensive thing. I like the way he runs his D's also. He's very agressive with some good blitz packages. Not that much zone. The only complaing I would have is that he likes smaller quicker DT's as well. I don't know if he does it on purpose or more because we haven't had a chance to get those big hulking DT's untill very recently.

Yeah I think he does favor smaller quicker guys. If I remember correctly, that's part of the system. But whatever, I'm sure he'll adjust to our personnel if he got the job. College coaches seem to be more willing to adjust than NFL guys bc they're so used to doing it.

The more I think of it the more I like the idea of him as our DC in the future. Of course, there's like a 1% chance of it ever happening.

Gotcha. Yeah my experience at Rutgers wasn't great either. I actually have mostly bad things to say about Rutgers to be honest. The RU screw found me quite a bit during my 4 years at Rutgers.

But it was my alma matter, so I respect it at the end of the day. I never bought a ring though. I'm going to Seton Hall in the Fall for my phd, and if I complete it, I'll get a ring from them.

I probably shouldn't knock Rutgers in a Rutgers thread, but they just left a bad taste in my mouth.

But Go Rutgers! Hahaha.

Haha well the RU Screw is very prevalent as we all know. I was never a big of jewelery so I don't have a ring either.

With that being said I love the place. I loved everything about it and will continue to. I understand that it leaves a bad taste in your mouth though from them screwing you over but I just can't find it in my heart to hate the place haha.

As for RU Athletics I really think we finally have a basketball coach who's the whole package. Rice is going to be a hero here. Schiano was but in recent years I think he got a little complacent and it showed last night. It was great to see McCourty and Underwood at the game last night though and Schiano has done a ton for the school. So we're killing it on the recruiting trail right now. The best thing ever to happen to us the last 3 years was Wanny getting fired. Hafley is paying off in dividends and I think Cignetti is really going to fix this offense going back to the pro style. I think Schiano is kind of embarrased also to what happened to the D last year so I expect him to really get that back on track again. We always say this but things are really looking up right now coming off that disastrous year.

With jersey Joe Martinek moving to fullback, who will be the starting halfback? We have Deering, Thomas, Williams, and Huggins. Pretty nice collection of backs.

In other news, FB/LB Edmond laryea has been granted a 6th year of eligibility.

Our WR core is filthy. Sanu and Harrison are 2 future pros, throw in freshman 6'6 Coleman and Shuler...I LOVE it. It's all about Chas getting them the ball. Along with Thomas, Deering and Savon...we've got a **** ton of talent in the skill positions

Hurricanes25

Speaking of Chas Dodd, do you guys know how he is playing so far this summer? I'm reading a lot more things about the Nova/Bimonte backup battle then I am about Dodd. But like you said Scotty, this team has tons of talent at the skill positions. It might be hard to scerw it up haha.

scottyboy
08-12-2011, 08:11 PM
well apparently Nova has been bitching Bimonte around (which is good), but not much on Chas. I think Chas can be good for us, I really do, it's all on the OL. This team is like the exact opposite of the good ol' Rutgers teams during our big run to publicity. Those teams were lead by a strong OL and mediocre QB play (I love ya Teel, but the overthrowing Britt and Tiquan hurt). This year we're stacked all around and I believe Chas can be good, but our OL is just a massive question mark. Again, with freaks in Sanu and Harrison, both big, 6'6 Coleman and super speedy Shuler, it'll be hard for Chas to mess it up. We've just got to keep HIM up

Giantsfan1080

Really should be a good game guys.. I know Bryn won't go 22 of 23 again unfortunately but like last years match it could be real competitive.

The real strength we have going into the game is our d-line vs the young
o-line that Rutgers has.

Exactly. The whole game is probably going to come down to that. Our Wr's should be able to do a good job hopefully opening up the running game. I'm still not sure what to expect from our D so tomorrow is going to be a big barometer. I'm a little shocked we're 10 point dogs but that goes back to last year. Should be a fun one.

Other than Sanu I am not familiar with the WR core but Sanu will probably handle our secondary.. Charles Brown however returns this week.

He started opposite Kendric last year and wasn't available in week 1.. huge to get him back but yeah will be interesting to see how Bryn does against an actual defense.

That's a tough one to lose. The running game was nonexistent which I think cost Rutgers the game. I know the UNC defensive line is beastly, but the o-line can't keep playing like that.

Other than that TD drop, Sanu was freakish today. As was Khaseem Greene.

The Line still sucks which has me worried. Other than that we played better in some spurts than I thought. Dodd was good but his height is and will be a problem. Schiano had some questionable game calls as always and I didn't love some of the playcalling. Taking everything into account I'm about even keel right now.

Dodd did play much better today but he gets way too many balls swatted at the line. Is his arm strength better than last year? It seems like he was putting good zip on his passes today. Better than I could remember of all of last year.

They always said he had great arm strength but he's probably just a little more sure of himself this year leading to some better throws. If he were a normal size QB he'd have offers from every major college in the country. I still think Nova is the answer though.

When it comes to football, I don't know any Syracuse fans here unless they're alums. The Empire State buliding was lit up in red a few years ago. I never recall it being orange. Schiano and co. has done a great job getting fans in NYC. Of course Notre Dame has their following here too.

Now basketball is another story. It's all Syracuse, UCONN and St. John's (when they're good).

He may not be the best gameday coach but man he can coach the heck out of a defense. Obviously it's no coincidence our D looks this good as soon as he took over control of it. It's starting to become a little exciting again at Rutgers again which we haven't seen in a few years.

The D is great. They did a great job stopping the always annoying triple option.

The only player I'm disappointed with is Huggins. The guy can't cough up the ball as much as he does.

Yeah the fumbles are a little worrisome but I still like the fact that he doesn't dance and hits the holes quick. Nova had a very good 2nd half after looking shaky early. Enough can't be said about the defense. They gave up the one long run on the TD but besides that not much else.

D was very good, O was inconsistant and couldn't finish. Story of our season. We should've blown them out. Kicking the 52 yarder on the 1st drive instead of going for it, fumble on the 1, the miss on the bootleg on 4th down, blocked FG, bad INT's by Nova. but a lot of very promising things to look forward to.
