GBN is reporting the Prothro, the Alabama WR will not return to football (at least at UA...I assume that means ever) because of his leg injury. Anyone else hearing that?

i thought we all knew he was done like right after the injury... that would be almost impossible to come back from and be near the same player

I know he has a medical scholarship as of now. Don't know if he will ever play again though.

I thought he would come back at the time. Medicine is so good now...especially with sports injuries. It was a broken leg. But I guess he tore up too much tissue. Damn shame.

Real shame. Poor kid. I wish him the best.

It's unfortunate something like this happens on the football field and to such a skilled player.

The big problem is that he got an infection in the leg after surgery. It really set things back.

He'll be lucky to walk without a cane, much less play football.

It wasn't just any broken leg. They guys whole lower ankle and foot were pretty much disconnected from his shin. I get sick every time I watch it.

Maybe he can get into coaching or something?

You're not allowed to play anymore after you receive a medical scholarship.
