His knee will do a MRI soon.

The local radio this morning said that the chiefs are expecting the "worst". I'm assuming that means the year. I guess we will know more today. I don't think McIntosh was going to be great, but man the falloff between him and what we have behind him is huge. I'm guessing Kyle Turley will get frist crack at replacing him. Hopefully he's back on the roids.

"Left tackle Damion McIntosh (http://chiefs.scout.com/a.z?s=115&p=8&c=1&nid=3032089) suffered a right knee injury midway through practice. He was carted off the field and did not return. Head coach Herm Edwards referred to the injury as a sprain. Will Svitek (http://chiefs.scout.com/a.z?s=115&p=8&c=1&nid=2980201) and Herb Taylor rotated at left tackle in his absence."

They still have yet to do the MRI so it could be better or worse then a sprain I'm praying for better but my gut says it will be worse.

"Will Svitek (http://chiefs.scout.com/a.z?s=115&p=8&c=1&nid=2980201) replaced Damion McIntosh (http://chiefs.scout.com/a.z?s=115&p=8&c=1&nid=3032089) with the first-team offense, but the Chiefs rotated Kyle Turley and Herb Taylor in at times. By far, I thought Svitek was the most impressive. He moved the pile consistently in the run game (he’s by far the strongest player of the three) and did a solid job in pass protection, apart from one play where Kendrell Bell (http://chiefs.scout.com/a.z?s=115&p=8&c=1&nid=2980080) got under his pads and drove his way into Brodie Croyle’s face. On one play Svitek identified his man correctly in blitz pickup and neutralized Derrick Johnson, and I was very impressed when the Chiefs ran the ball on another snap and he drove defensive end Jared Allen (http://chiefs.scout.com/a.z?s=115&p=8&c=1&nid=2980078) completely out of the play, almost knocking him down."

Sucks about MacIntosh, hope he's ok.

I hope Svitek can come out of nowhere and lock that LT spot down. Especially if Mac is out, Svitek needs to step up now more then ever.
