I don't know if I would want Green Bay to take Thomas; we do need a corner but I'm not a big fan of taking him there

Seattle takes a Defensive Back with their first pick for the 3rd straight year? I like Zackary Bowman and I could see how they may take another DB but I would hope they go in a different direction. Trufant had a pretty good year last year, Jennings played decent as a rookie in limited time and will start this year,Josh Wilson and Jordan Babineaux round out a solid CB position. Plus after this offseason they have aton of depth at S. Deon Grant, Brian Russell, Mike Green and Michael Boulware.

Pretty good actually. Seattle might need to go for a defensive lineman instead of corner. Doucet to the Chargers would be OK if Vincent Jackson didn't impress this year.

I like the eagles pick, he may be a little on the smaller side but I think he could be the future at WLB, don't know if AR will take a LB in the 1st round.

9) Atlanta Falcons: Andre Woodson (QB) Kentucky

I'm sorry but when you have a solid QB like the Dirty Birds have with Joey you don't draft QBs in the 1st round....

I would rather have Antoine Cason than Thomas at this point.

eh it's all speculation at this point.. we need a corner, who the best available is will change. it could be Thomas, King, or Cason.

Brian Cushing is not a 1st round 4-3 OLB. He is not quick enough in the hips. Think Bobby Carpenter.

No way we take Rey that high....

I really think Cason is WAY better than Thomas, but things could change

Brian Cushing is a SLB and he's a solid fit in a 4-3. He has 4-3 1st round talent.

As for the Steelers pick:

I like the Oher pick. My only hope is if we draft Oher that we trade up in round 2 for Tommy Blake.

Though I'm still not sold on taking a 1st round tackle this offseason unless they're a juggernaut RT (Jake Long, Gosder Cherilous)

Niners need DL help. They're pretty well set at OLB. Okam would be a nice pick.

Baker... that's okay, it'll be either a lineman, a linebacker or a corner

Atlanta will not get Andre Woodson. he isn't worth a 1st round pick in any way and doesn't fit what Petrino would look for in a QB. we would get OT Sam Baker here.

Dorsery seems to be a popular pick for the Bucs and I can't say I disagree with it.

How is Woodson not worth a first rounder?

Not necessarily a big fan of the Eagles pick, there are bigger position of need than OLB right now. I know Spkies is not young, but we have plenty of capable LBs behind him. Trotter is not exactly what he used to be either, but Omar Gaither could replace either of those and Stewart Bradley has been seeing some time at MIKE as well, and looking impressive. Gocong is looking good too, so we'll see how that works out. Possible picks could be a TE or Safety. But who knows right know, there is so much that can change in the upcoming months.

Yes, I know he plays at the SLB position now, but he projects better at a 3-4 OLB. It's the reason he played DE/OLB last year. SC is switching back to the 4-3 only because the rest of the players on D project better at the 4-3 on SC.

But he still showed everything you want out of a 4-3 SLB. Ability in the run game.. ability to rush the passer (Blitzes) and he has above average coverage ability. Which IMO could make him one of the best coverage SLB's in the league.

Blasphemy. First off, his team sucks. Vs. Louisville, he was 9-24 (not too good) but 231 yards and 3 touchdowns with no picks. Vs. the National Champs in the Swampski, 26-37 210 yards 1 TD no picks. Admittedly he didn't do well vs. LSU but few did. He most definitely is worth a #1 and is the top QB IMO in this draft.
