Just a prediction...I'm not expecting a great year for the Browns but, I do expect Frye to be named starter and I'm expecting a pretty solid season for him. I dont think Brady gets in this year.

That 3rd down conversion run by Ronnie Brown could be the play of the preseason. Great play. The OL isn't doing him many favors, though.

I like Jaws, I can mind Kornheiser, and not having to listen to Joe Theismann is best of all.

The Dolphins defense is just abusing the Chiefs offense.

Hey man.. I'm not trying to be a jerk (Which is may come off as being i'm a steeler fan and all).

Where do you project the Bengals?

They lost Irons for the season.. Henry for 8 games..

and both their All-Star tackles are out.. Levi Jones is still rehabbing, and Willie Anderson Has a foot/ankle injury and they're unsure of when he'll be back..

Well, I think if Levi (along with Willie) are out the first few games we struggle on offense... I could see us going 1-3 to open the year in a bad scenario. Willie I think we can survive IF Levi is back, IMO Levi is more important to our line that Willie. Whitworth is a very solid backup at either tackle spot but if we have to start Scott Kooistra not only am I not sure how he'll perform but he has trouble staying healthy.

Bottom line I could really see us struggling the first 8 games if Levi/Willie miss early along with Henry/Irons/Perry being out. I think the second half is when we'll really come on strong because Henry/Perry and presumably Levi/Willie will be healthy along with our D getting more time together.

Originally I thoguht we'd go 12-4 with Irons/Levi/Willie but without I could see us going 4-4 or 5-3 out the gate but then finishing strong with how easy our schedule is. I think we'll still be double digit wins but unlike in the offseason I don't see us being a threat for a first weekend of the playoff bye.

And I think you must be mad. Frye won't even start half the year, Quinn will start more games this year than Charlie. Quinn's had some practices that made Frye look lousy so far and he's only on his 2nd week of camp.

It would help if our offensive line could open some holes for him. He seemed to do it all himself. Hopefully green can be the guy we saw on the second drive there. If so they cant stack the line against him like they did last year.

I wouldnt take Ronnie first round if I were you but he would be a nice 3rd round type pick or later 2nd rounder. 1400 yards 10td range this year I think.

Funny part is for the chiefs vs fins there. Was our defense that good or their offense that bad? We didnt start 4 of our best defensive players (porter, taylor, thomas, Traylor) pretty much our full linebacker core lol

The Duke is pretty rusty at center. Bad snap caused a 20 yard loss that turned a red zone trip into a missed long field goal. Just had a false start as well.
Sounds like McGee is doing very well.
Again we gave up a huge first drive but a goal line stand. We're taking the "bend but not break" defense to the limit. Red zone D has been great so far, all the LBs have been in on some stops at the line as well, but there are definitely some problems on both of the lines.

Woo turnover!
Coy Wire to LB = great transition.

Damn you steelers if Campbell is hurt seriously I will blow up, they are cheap asses and just like they did to Carson Palmer their front office tells their players to go low on the QB, it shouldn't have just been a personal foul, I hope with Big Ben drops back, Sean Taylor rips off his helmet and beats him on the head with it.

Don't think it's serious because of the fact it was slightly above the knee, 2 inches lower you have another Carson Palmer situation. You never go low on a QB especially after he has already thrown the ball especially in the preseason. It is dirty, ugly, and doesn't belong in football. Steelers should enjoy getting out of DC tonight.

He completed like a 40 yard pass to Cooley, but a second or 2 after he released the ball punk ass Brett Keisel dives at Campbells knee Carson palmer and drives through it all the way to the ground, was a personal foul, but JC is walking the sidelines and they say ligaments appear to be alright and probably just a sprain or bruise, he was luckily hit a little above the knee because a couple inches lower and it is bye bye season.

it wasn't good -- mark roman read him very well and made a clean break on the ball.

The Niners' defense still having trouble stopping the run (although they are now missing their entire starting DL with minor injuries and family issues). On the bright side, the young substitutes on the right side of the OL have done a very nice job, as Smith seemed to face significantly less pressure in the last drive which resulted in a TD pass to Delanie Walker.

Colts ST obviously still has some work to do, though to be fair the Bears ST has been among the league's best for the last few years. And Hester is Hester.

"Home Field Advantage" saved a touchdown, lol.

More than anything it was the result of such a long punt. Give someone that much running room and you could pay. Give it to Hester and you probably will. Huge punts like that are really dangerous, the coverage just can't get there.

Don't worry Bears fans, Grossman had Labor day on his mind.

It's a sad day when I wouldn't be surprised if Minnesota or Detroit wins the NFC North.

Says a lot about the NFC as well.

I know preseason doesn't mean much. But have you watched the packers so far this year? At all?

Geo: How did Tony Ugoh look?
Wish I paid more attention to him, but from what I saw he seemed to play well in his second preseason game. He made blocks long enough for Manning to make his throws, doing a better job of keeping defenders outside (last week Demarcus Ware beat him inside on a play). He's showing promise and progression for a rookie left tackle, but it's still early and there is a lot of football to be played.

Where do you get this impression? We still have nothing resembling an offense.

If Tarvaris Jackson can become McNabb like as some think he may...well we've seen QBs like him carry their offense.

Main difference: Jackson was drafted in the second round from 1AA Alabama State, while McNabb was drafted in the top 5 from Syracuse.

I hate to use this argument, really I do, but if round drafted mattered, Tom Brady would suck.
