Really, if you're gonna add 1/3 of all the starting QB's in Div-1A to your watch list, why not name all of them? When your list includes Taylor Bennett, Matthew Stafford, Tim Tebow, and Juice Williams, you know it's too inclusive. What have they done that's more impressive than say, Steven McGee, Kellen Lewis, or Riley Skinner (just to name a few who were not included)? They might as well have included Mark Sanchez, since he has a shot if Booty goes down early...

Yeah because he's never ever going to get better and neither is his team right?

Well then don't be a prick and say HUGE LOL at Juice being on the list. It's possible he wins. Not probable, but possible. At least no one thinks he's got a major chance, unlike possibly the most overrated QB in college football history, Drew Tate. Everyone was all over Tate's nuts last year, look how that worked out.

dude what is with getting so defensive...all I did is laugh at Juice being on the list because he isn't even close to a top QB in the NCAA, and agree with someone earlier saying they might as well put every starter on that list...and you come to the conclusion that I don't think he will ever do better and then start ripping on Drew Tate (who was very overrated, but not horrible)...seriously, calm down and don't call me a prick for not liking Juice just because it's my opinion...

Didn't Juice complete like 29% of his passes? That indeed is a Huge lol.

Actually it was like 39% I think...but that's my point...I'm not saying he won't be better with experience and more weapons (Benn), but to put possibly the worst efficient passer in the nation on a list of "Possible" winners this year for Best QB is hilarious...and yes I understand he had no help last year, but it isn't like he is going to go from 39% passing to like 75% no matter who they bring in to help

I'm not saying he's gonna jump to 75%, but a 20% raise this season wouldn't shock me.

As much as I dislike Juice and Illannoy, I would hope he could complete over 50% of passes if he wants to be a QB...I just don't see why everyone is so high on him right now...I can agree when people say he has the tools to be good, which I agree that given his physical measures and abilities and the recruits Illannoy is bringing in that he can be great by his Senior, maybe even Junior year...but to mention him right now on a list for best QB, IMO, is extremely far fetched...I mean might as well put Jake Christensen on that list :D

Juice was a GOD AWFUL QB last year. Never saw someone so unable to hit his spots or find the open man. He better improve DRAMATICALLY this year, or Illinois is going to have to win despite Juice, not because of him.

Completely blew last year. Partly due to his poor O-line play and inexperienced WRs, partly due to his awful mechanics and lack of any consistency. I know he went undrafted, not sure if he got a chance with an NFL squad. I know a lot of Iowa fans who are excited about Jake Christensen and think he'll be better as a rFr. (soph?) than Tate was as a Sr.

That award is going to look pretty sweet sitting atop Blake Mitchell's mantle.
