I start next monday. Idk why you're nervous, most the kids you have known since middle school. And I think that this year, I am taking that approach. These kids have known me since 6th grade, a lot of them since 1st, they know who I am, and vice versa so no need to be nervous.

Ravens1991
08-20-2007, 05:05 PM
true but I always get nervous a lot, I used to get real nervous in middle school. But it is kind of like a excited nervousness if you ever had that.

bearfan
08-20-2007, 05:13 PM
Haha, I used to get nervous like that...except just nervous. It caused me to have Pre-Hypertension *aka High Blood pressure* back in 6th grade and going into 7th grade (found out that summer). Then I took the attitude to just take it easy, and now Im good to go.

To get away from BF51? :p

Anyway I'm going into Grade 12. I'm kinda excited, but really worried since I have no idea what I wanna be when I'm older. Well, I kinda wanna take over the world and be emperor but that's really unlikely. So I'll need to decide on something else. Also the school messed up and now I owe them $90 for a book I actually handed in. Ugh.

Oh and I'm also dreading telling everyone that I most likely won't be playing football, because theyll try to talk me into it, but I need to work and I have other stuff and it would just be very difficult to balance all of it.

My junior year in HS was pretty good.

I'm going to be a junior and my schedule kicks ass. I dropped Spanish, all math, and history this year (well, actually there wasn't a history class available) so my schedule looks something like this.

Study Hall
English
Strength training
Phys ed
Reading for pleasure
Study Hall
Lunch
Study Hall
Chemistry

And during study halls i go to the computer lab and get on here. it's going to be a good year, and yes i will have enough credits to graduate.

Will be a junior, and defiantly not looking forward to it.

I must admit though, these high school years are flying by. It is scary to think that when I first came to this very site, I was a little freshman going through puberty and being pretty much in awe of the whole high school scene (which turns out to suck).

Or u could do it my way, take pretty tough courses in junior year, get Cs in them, and then slack off in senior year. I mean my afternoons during senior year was being a teachers assistant, I corrected a few papers, and band or phy ed and band in the second semester, and then get an awful score on the ACTs or SATs. And I got into college. However, UWM is not the hardest of colleges to get into if u are in the top 50% of my class like I was.

I live like a block away from that school. I would never even think about getting in there though. I know kids that have had 4.2's with good SAT scores and got rejected there.
Hey man you never know...a lot of the UCs seem to be pretty random like that...I had a 4.2 with a 1920 SAT (not bad, but not great)...I wanted to go to UCLA, but didnt get in, while I know plenty of people with worse resume's who did...its weird like that...I guess there are just way too many applicants, but understandable because the quality of the education for the price (in state) is unbeatable...but yea I happy about my choice and hopefully it'll be a lot of fun...hard, but fun.

You're probably thinking of UW-Madison (Wisconsin), he's going to UW-Milwaukee (UWM).

Yeah, I knew it was one of those two. Ah well.

Milwaukee partys too, but yes, I heard Madison partys harder, but I wasn't smart enough for Madison.

Don't worry, both UWMs party, but that UWM partys a little harder than the real UWM. That one is just UW.

Leave for Amsterdam on Sunday then on to Rome for college.

Really? Which one? La Sapienza, Roma 3 or Tor Vergata? And to study what?
I finished all the exams and I'm graduating in december. I will take my second graduation in the United States, leaving from here on september 2008. I will have to choose the college but I have some time to make that decision, and I don't know yet the list of possible destinations.

My cousin goes to Penn State Al toona(horribly misspelled) but visits PSU a lot and said that since St. Patricks day was on spring break everybody got together and made a day before they went on break and all celebrated St. Patrick day and missed there classes. Plus I remember hearing PSU was up on the list.

How the hell do you average 97% in high school English? I think the highest mark my teacher in grade 12 gave out was like an 88 or something.

While it was long ago, I remember my senior year in college I had no Thurs. or Friday classes, and I didn't have a class Mon. thru Wed. that started before 2:00 P.M.

Good times.
