I randomly put every team in a hat and drew backwards from 32. This has nothing to do with talent and based mostly on need.
1. San Diego Chargers: Darrius Heyward-Bey WR Maryland
I was deciding between Rolle and Bey and figured with Weddle the Safties are much improved.
2. New Orleans Saints: Malcom Jenkins CB Ohio State
If he doesn't declare then this would be the pick.
3. Cleveland Browns: Vernon Gholston DE/OLB Ohio State
They need another pass rusher and he's local
4. Denver Broncos: Myron Rolle SS Florida State
Lynch and Ferguson won't be around forever so this is an obvious pick
5. New England Patriots: Jefferey Fitzgerald DE/OLB Virginia
They're aging at LB and won't be able to address it all in the '08 draft
6. Dallas Cowboys: Hunter Cantwell QB Louisville
Tony Romo isn't the answer and he's the best QB in the class
7. Cincinnati Bengals: Taylor Mays SS Southern Cal
Dexter Jackson's replacement and he's alot better
8. Miami Dolphins: Brian Cushing DE/OLB Southern Cal
They need to find Jason Taylor's heir apparent and he fits the scheme
9. Seattle Seahawks: Ryan Clady OT Boise State
Locklear isn't the answer and Clady should block well for Alexander
10. Indianapolis Colts: Terrance Taylor DT Michigan
They need help at D Tackle and he's the best in class.
11. Philadelphia Eagles: James Hardy WR Indiana
McNabb needs a big fast target
12. New York Jets: Andre Smith OG Alabama
Would replace Kendall and make the Jet's line one of the best(atleast in the future)
13. Arizona Cardinals: CJ Spiller RB Clemson
If they have Lienart, Fitzgerald.Boldin, and Spiller they're unstoppable.
14. Baltimore Ravens: Jerod Mayo ILB Tennessee
They need to finally replace Ray Lewis
15. Carolina Panthers: Nate Longshore QB California
After the '08 saeason the Panthers will see Carr isn't the answer.
16. Minnesota Vikings: Michael Hamlin SS Clemson
They need to replace Darren Sharper
17. Houston Texans: Chris Wells RB Ohio State
They'll finally get they're RB.
18. Pittsburgh Steelers: Nic Harris FS Oklahoma
Free saftey is the only pick I could see them going for first round.
19. Kansas City Chiefs: Erin Henderson OLB Maryland
They also need youth in their LB corps
20. Chicago Bears: Brandon Graham OLB Michigan
I could see him kicking outside to replace Lance Briggs
21. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Darry Beckwith OLB LSU
They need to replace Derrick Brooks
22. New York Giants: Matt Stafford QB Georgia
I changed from Juice Williams because I forgot Stafford would probably declare
23. Green Bay Packers: Michael Goodson RB Texas A&M
Brett Favre needs a weapon in his last season
24. Atlanta Falcons: DeMarcus Granger DT Oklahoma
The Falcons need youth at DT
25. Washington Redskins: Phillip Merling DE Clemson
Daniels and Carter are getting old and Merling is the best DE left
26. Buffalo Bills: Geno Haynes OLB Florida State
If they take Connor then this is subject to change but I feel they'll take a corner
27. Tennessee Titans: Travis Beckum TE Wisconsin
It all depends on if he declares. It could be the final piece of the puzzle. If they get Michael Turner, Draft D-Jax and draft Beckum they will have one of the best offenses for years to come.
28. Jacksonville Jaguars: Jarett Dillard WR Rice
Although they've taken receivers 2 of five years they need another one since Jones and Williams haven't panned out.
29. St. Louis Rams: Doug Worthington DE Ohio State
They need a rush end to replace Leonard Little
30. San Francisco 49ers: Brandon LaFell WR LSU
Lelie is inconsistent and Jackson is getting old they need a reciever.
31. Oakland Raiders: Vidal Hazelton WR
Gallery must have worked out if they made it to the Super Bowl and JaMarus needs another weapon beside McFadden.
32. Detroit Lions: Vontae Davis CB Illinois
He plays for Illinois so people won't be watching. The Lions desperately need a corner.
