I'm a Cane fan so this is good news to me. I wonder if he'll be able to hold the job or if Xavier Lee will take over in the middle of the year if Weatherford is playing well enough. Anyways I thought you guys might like to know.

Well drew player well as a sophmore... just struggled last year... i think if he can stay consistent, cause really thats what they want.. a guy that they know how he is gonna play week in and week out... if he can do that.. i think he has the job and really i cant see hwy he wouldnt be able to

At least this allows for FSU fans to continue to talk highly about Lee without him actually proving anything.

Hopefully people will shut up about Lee now. All the tools in the world don't mean a thing when you don't have the skills to start over Drew Weatherford.

To be honest as a Hoos and Maryland fan I'm happy, much rather face crap Weatherford than Xavier Lee who has done well at times, but obviously not nearly enough. Lee gives the threat of doing something big Weatherford is guaranteed crap.

I think you guys are being to rough on Weatherford hes being coached by Jimbo Fisher now who coached Rohan Davey.

Xavier Lee had the potential to be a good player, but with Weatherford, we know he's going to suck. Good news for 'Canes fans, i guess.

Great news for Canes fans... they are only 0-2 versus Weatherford.

Yea, Weatherford really had a lot to do with us scoring 17 points in those 2 games, it must have been that 7 for 24 game with an INT that beat UM. http://cubloc.com/phpBB2/images/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif

No thanks to Weatherford. They won, in spite of him these last two years. And by a combined 6 points, with Kyle Wright at quarterback and Larry Coker head coach. I'm just saying it's good news for 'canes because we haven't seen Lee, and he has a lot of potential, while we have seen Weatherford against our team, and he hasn't looked good.

And Lee can't even beat him out, so what does that tell you. He can have all the potential in the world, but if he isn't consistant enough to beat out Drew Weatherford... obviously not the savior most Nole fans seem to think he is.
