Bret Meyer QB/WR Iowa State, may be this years Brad Smith.
Micah Andrews RB Wake Forest, if he wasn't hurt so much he would be much more noticed.
Tony Burks WR Miss. St. , Huge(6'4" 217) and is a big deep threat.
Lavelle Hawkins WR Cal , Overshadowed by Jackson, but makes some great catches and is quick.
Brent Schaffer WR/QB Ole Miss, 5 Star Juco at QB, switched to WR this season, very gifted player, hes got to show alot in one year though it might me to steep of a hill to climb.
Hercules Satale OG Hawaii, This years talented O-Lineman from Hawaii didnt get that much PT due to the stellar line last season.
Marcus Coleman C Wisconsin, Very Talented Anchor for Wisconsin's Line.
Cliff Avril DE/LB Purdue, Had a monster year but could of been because of the attention Anthony Spencer had, time will tell.
Titus Brown DE/LB Miss St., Absolute Terror, could be this years 3-4 linebacker that slips into the First Round.
Martrel Brown DT NC State, Overshadowed by Pressley but IMO is way more talented and didnt get as much PT as he should of because Tank Tyler was their last year.
Lorenzo Williams DT Missouri, Has a nose for the ball and is always in the backfield.
Casper Brinkley LB/DE South Carolina- Played DE last year, Jaspers twin brother, can really get to the QB, is making the switch to LB this year.
Brandon Miller LB Georgia- Highly recruited LB, has had injury problems previously, very special player though
Charles Godfrey CB Iowa- HUGE (6'1" 208), suprisingly VERY FAST, makes plays all over the field, by far this years sleeper coming into the season, IMO first round potential.
Stanley Franks CB Idaho- Juco Transfer, who is just a flat out playmaker, needs to put on 10 lbs., but he can play.
Khayyam Burns CB Arkansas State- Big CB, who is a can make big stops and plays.
Jack Williams CB Kent State- Tiny (5'9" 180 lbs.), perfect nickel CB, one of the top run stopping corners, has a nose for the ball.
Drew Kelson S Texas- Highly recruited prospect who finally gets to play since others have moved on.Very physical saftey, likes to play in the box.
Joe Fields S Syracuse- Played QB until last season, adjusted very well could be that Syracuse DB that gets drafted high (A. Smith, T. Jackson) if he continues to learn the position as quickly as he has shown.
Nehemiah Warrick S Michigan St- HARD HITTING SAFTEY, one of few bright spots on the team.

If Brent Schaeffer accepted the move to WR then he would have a better shot at the NFL, but now he is the backup QB. He is about 6-2 205 with reported 4.4 speed. He is just a superb athlete who can run, jump, cut on a dime, and break tackles. He just isn't a QB> He has a cannon but is not accurate at all. He is supposed to have great hands as far as catching the ball is concerned, too. Looks like the Reggie McNeal of 2007.

I think Meyer should do well w/ Blythe this year, but does he have Smith's speed

Cory Boyd needs more love.

I mean seriously, he is awfully low on everyone's RB rankings.

DT Ziggy Hood, he's a jr but keep an eye out for him and DB Darnell Terell, 6'3 205 and a mid to low 4.4 40. Also out of Mizzou in a year or two will be WR Denario Alexander, he should have a breakout year this year, he's 6'4 205 with a 46 inch vertical, it set the school record, and he runs a 4.4 40

He threw 2 INT's in a loss to Kent State..

He went big time downhill the last two years.

I believe Smith was 6'2 213lbs and 4.46 40.

Meyer should be 6'3 215lbs and 4.62 40.

He is good though. Maybe a bit slow for a 43 DE in the NFL but would be great as a DE in the 34. 6'2" 290lb range with probably a 4.8-5.0 40.

My vote for NCSU would be Miguel Scott though. 6' 195lb FS. Great prospect, imo. He should really excel this year in O'Brien's zone defense.

So much for Bret Meyer doing well. Had a terrible game last night in the loss to KENT STATE!!!! This guy went from being heralded as the next big dual threat QB as a sophomore to a guy whose career will be over after his final college game

LT Chris Williams, Allowed 1 sack last year to Lamarr Woodley the first game of the season and then stone walled everyone after that in the SEC. I think he has everything you look for in a LT(the black Joe Thomas) Huge year for him. 6-7 315lbs

Good call on Joe Fields. I like him a lot and he did really well in his first collegiate season on defense.

Ole Miss RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis is another guy. Pretty good measurables at about 5-10/5-11 220 with 4.55 speed. Great vision, agility, and acceleration to match his great production and athletcism.

Another Ole Miss guy is WR Mico McSwain. About 6-2 210 with great strength and speed (4.45 range). Reminds me of Chad Jackson from a physical standpoint and they are both great after the catch (Mico is a former RB). He needs to work on his hands but he is still young and has a lot of potential.

Some of them maybe, but watch Titus Brown and Charles Godfrey play, these guys are first round picks, teams gameplan to stay away from them and they are still all over the field.

Erik Walden, DE from Middle Tennessee State looked nice versus Louisville Thursday, seems to have a combination of quicks and strength at the point, first time I've watched him though.

Cory Byrd! Great size, explosive runner with some good wiggle. Good receiver. So underrated.

For Arkansas State I like Montis Harrison and Tyrell Johnson more-so than Burns.

And in the future Reggie Arnold is a sleeper RB. 5'9/ 217/ 4.40 40 yard dash speed/ productive.

Charles Godfrey

Big ( 6'1 215 )
Fast ( 4.38 )
Athletic (40 " vert)

and he's a cornerback..

Two picks the first game of the season, second game not one pass was even thrown to his man.

** into 1st-rounder..

That's just how Iowa does it.

I absolutely love Godfrey.

I was contemplating putting Kelson in my rankings, for although he's got great skills, he hasn't proved much in his four years at Texas.

Watch out for Hofstra WR Charlie Sullivan 6-1, 202.

He was behind Marques Colston and Detroit WR Devale Ellis in '05, and Shaine Smith last year, but he has good size and skills and is going to have a monster season.
