I don't want to jinx the Saints who I think have a legitimate chance to make it. So I'm going with this pair:

Bears vs. Patriots

I keep thinking Chargers but I just do not think Norv Turner can get them there.

I'll take the Ravens over the Cowboys. (Conference Championship game losers: New Orleans and Indianapolis)

Clemens wins MVP.... Jacobs wins offensive rookie of the year. Revis wins droy... And the Jets send 10 players to the pro bowl.... Clemens, Cotchery, Mangold, Jacobs, DaBrick, Vilma, Revis, Rhodes, Nugent, and Leon as a KR.... QUOTE IT!

Chargers over the Saints.

There are not a lot of worthy NFC teams this year.

Sniper

Patriots over the Eagles.

AFC PLAYOFF TREE
Chargers>Ravens
Patriots>Colts
Patriots>Chargers

NFC PLAYOFF TREE
Eagles>Bears
Saints>Cowboys
Eagles>Saints

For the AFC, I like the Pats for obvious reasons. If they play to their potential, this team could be incredible.

For the NFC, it's much more wide open. The Eagles will struggle with their run defense until Bunkley and Gaither get more comfortable. The offense won't be a problem. The Saints will struggle to stop a lot of people both through the air and on the ground. The secondary is incredibly weak can be exposed.
The Cowboys, well I'm not sold on Romo. Barber and Jones makes for a nice rushing attack and they've got a terrific receiving corps with Owens, Glenn, Crayton and Witten. DeMarcus Ware is a MAN but he needs to refine his pass rushing to more than only outside moves. I like Newman but the rest of the secondary is very mediocre. Roy can't cover anyone, Hamlin is very much the same way and Anthony Henry is just eh. Plus, I don't know about Wade Phillips.

So yes, the Eagles pick may be a homer pick, but there's only 4 teams I could see winning the NFC. Philly, NO, Dallas, Chicago in no order.

I'll say Bears beat Patriots. Just to piss pats fans off.

AFC title game- Baltimore edges out Houston.
NFC title game- the Giants somehow over come the awesome powers that are Brian Leonard and Torry holt and defeat the Rams

Giants get revenge against Balti, Jesse Armstead comes out of retirement and starts at LB, returns a pick for a TD, only this one isnt called back because of bull$*!@ defensive holding on a Dlineman...

Bears and Patriots. Rematch of 1985. Pats def. Colts in AFC Ch., Bears def. Eagles in NFC Ch.

I appreciate all the people who said Baltimore we usually dont get respect like that, like how we managed to go 13-3 and still be mentioned on Sports Center like 3 times in a season...its mind boggling...

oh, there's still a lot of really bad AFC teams too.
the pats are getting really soft in the middle (vrabel and teddy b are like a combined age of julio franco... no. wait. they're about as old as julio franco. ish)
and that's not to mention the texans. oakland. the entire state of ohio. kansas city. and maybe indy. they kinda suck too.

Fans, not fan's. But that doesn't mean the Saints aren't going to win. I'd like to see that matchup though. Crappy O vs. Crappy D, Amazing O vs. Amazing D.

if the pats play the bears in the SB, the Bears are NFC champion.
