I have been driving myself nuts trying to research for much of the afternoon/evening -- to no avail -- what injury landed Hill on Injured Reserve. With Bazuin, I know that it was a knee, but what about this guy?

Doesn't Chicago have a history of putting players on IR with minor injuries to avoid losing them and saving a roster spot. They did the same thing with Dvoracek

SuperKevin hit it right on the head, they are just trying to save a roster spot while keeping the guy around in case he's needed.
