How will your team look?

Green Bay
Oline could have alot of position changes, but i just kept them at what they play now.

HB-Jackson (Hopefully)
FB-?
WR-Jennings
WR-Jones
TE-?
OT-Moll
OG-Colledge
C-Wells
OG-Spitz
OT-Barbe

DE-Kampan (Probably on the back 9 of his career at this point, but hopefully still solid)

QB: Brady Quinn
RB: Jerome Harrison? Not quite sure.
FB: Lawrence Vickers
WR: Braylon Edwards
WR: Travis Wilson
WR: Joshua Cribbs
TE: Kellen Winslow
T: Joe Thomas
G: Hopefully Isaac Sowells
C: LeCharles Bentley
G: No clue, really
T: Kevin Shaffer

DE: Simon Fraser
DT: Only possibility already on the team is Babatunde Oshinowo
DE: ?
OLB: Kamerion Wimbley
MLB: Andra Davis
MLB: D'Qwell Jackson
OLB: If they decide to switch him, Leon Williams
CB: Leigh Bodden
S: Sean Jones
S: Brodney Pool
CB: Eric Wright

Now that I look at it...that's a damn good young secondary the Browns have. D line looks really bad though. I'd say the only realy ? are RB, G, DT and DE.

Our whole offensive dynamics will have changed by then, so there's no way to tell. Our defense will be faster and improved with new leaders in Gaines, Barrett & Tanard. We still need to add more complementary pieces for the future, however. We could possibly have a playmaker in DeSean Jackson, a QB of the future in (Brennan),or another dominant defender in (Dorsey).

QB - Carson Palmer
RB - Rudi Johnson (?)
FB - Jeremi Johnson
WR - Chad Johnson

I'm hoping we peak in about 3 years, we have a fairly long window at this point and the defense will only continue to gain experience as long as we don't have 10,000 injuries/Odell happening.

This one is kinda fun. Pretty much everyone is already on the team, waiting in the wings. Pretty much like now, our biggest question marks are at saftey, d-line and wr. These guys all need to step up.

QB. Alex Smith
RB Frank Gore
FB Zach Keasy
WR Jason Hill
WR Arnaz Battle
TE Vernon Davis
H-Back Delanie Walker

LT Joe Staley
LG Probably a second rounder or a first day pick, Nolan loves spending first day picks on guys in the trenches.
C Eric Heitmann
RG David Baas
RT Adam Snyder

LE Isaac Sopoaga
NT BJ Raji (3rd round pick, BC)
RE Ray McDonald, DT on third downs

LOLB Manny Lawson
LILB Brian Cushings (1st round, USC) will be a DE on 3rd downs
RILB Patrick Willis
ROLB Parys Haralson, DE on third downs

CB Nate Clements
CB Tarell Brown

FS One of our developmental FS/CB guys
SS Darnell Bing (maybe he can turn into the player he was supposed to be)

dont you think Dallas Clark is going to be wrapped up long term? i think thats going to be Polian's priority and he's going to be around for a while yet

In 5 years he'll be 33, not sure how productive he can be at 33. I think we'll have drafted his replacement by then. Of course, I bet all of our linebackers have been let go by then aswell.

I can think of some guys that I would bet on being in the league in five years. I think this is a good topic.

Astericks note players that will be 10 year+ veterans during the 2012 season, so its hard to say if they'll start of even be with the team then. Same thing goes with the guys who haven't proven themselves, so I put /Draft Pick next to their name and only put that next to five players. I have no clue what will happen with Pac, but if he makes it rain again, Cortland or a draft pick will likely take his spot on the roster.

You have a head coach that has run the Tampa 2 scheme basically his entire career. Dick LeBeau was basically forced upon him for this season, and the first two picks the Steelers made in this year's draft would make for good stalwarts of a Tampa 2 defense. I'd say the chances of the Steelers switching to a Tampa 2 in the near future are pretty good.

Hoke would be 36, Keisel 33, Simmons 33, Hampton 35. That team would be pretty old for a typical Steelers' club. I'd hope that we have some one to replace Mahan and Hoke.

I'll take a shot at this:
