Ben Roethlisberger will return to glory this year and dominate in the new offense.

And you are correct :D

I'll post up a Ravens-Bengals thread on here once I get time to do a writeup on some of the key points or if someone else makes a thread I'll just add it onto that.

I have us splitting the series with you, we will get our revenge later in the season. I really could see this game going either way but my gut says a loss. I just need to see our new O-Line and new RB in action before I can make even an educated guess. I really like the Bengals offense but there defense is nothing to be happy about. If our Offense out performs their defense than we should win.

So, everyone agree that the browns are going to pull a san diego and go from 4-12 to 12-4 in one season?

balt
pittsburgh
cinci
cleveland

just my opinion

cinci could be second but i see their d not performing as people would like so they would lose games there

plus with no proven back up for rudi, rudi will be gettin all these carries and gettin tired and gassed and will get hurt

Batli 11-5: rides defense and what should be and improved OL (in comparison to last year) by the end of the season.
Pitt: 9-7: only because i see Ben having a good year. the OL will be about the same as last year (with a better chance of being worse than better), and i am not sold on the hype you guys are giving your D (i see potential pass rush problems which exposes rather average CBs and unprove FS)
Cinci: 8-8: Sure the O will be real good, but not as great as espn says. OL has potential, but unproven, Rudi is older and even slower and the D is well, not looking that great.
Cleveland: 7-9: OL is better is exponetially improved and Jamal Lewis has to better than Droughns. We lost 6 games by 7 or less last season in large part due to our inability to protect the QB and run the ball in key situations, i think we have improved the OL enough to win a few of those games. Plus, we got better everywhere except WR, we will be better than last season garaunteed. 6 wins atleast.

Tough division, I think they're worse than Pitt or Cinci, one of those 3 is gonna get a record that doesn't show how good they are.

I seriously doubt that half the AFC playoff teams will be from the AFC North.

I like the ravens, maybe all the way to the lombardi. Steelers could play spoiler if they can survive 4-6 without #7 and not be already out of it. bengals showed in playoffs and at end of year not a very good team. They were very close and a few breaks away from being 5-11. Browns probably worst team in the nfl.

Wow, this went from discussing the 2007 season, to 2010. We really do not talk in this section. haha

Steelers defense is still the best. :)

It's early to do this, but what the heck. Here are my pre pre-season thoughts on our division. Obviously, what happens in training camp and pre-season (injuries, etc.), will affect how our division plays out.

1) Ravens - As much as I hate to say it, they should be the strongest team in our division. Good news though, it's their swan song before sinking like a rock in coming seasons. Ray-Ray will be going bye-bye soon. TRich will make him realize he has stuck around too long. Record: 10-6, before getting a drubbing in the playoffs.

2) Bengals - Don't get too excited Queen city. They might finish 2nd but wont make the playoffs. Too many knuckleheads on the team. And that skinny WR is going to break like a toothpick one of these days when TJ Ward knocks him silly. Record: 8-8.

3) Browns - The building of the next dynasty in the league took another big leap with the drafting of their much needed RB, QB, and RT. At worst this will be the team's last under .500 record, for a long long time. The rest of the division, conference, and league, are shaking in their boots, knowing what's coming down the line considering how Holmgren and Heckert have been building this team. Not to mention the experienced coaching staff they've been putting together. Hiring Childress and Cromwell were two more good additions. Record: 7-9, but watch out as next year they'll win the division. If the rookies get up to speed fast enough it could even happen this year.

4) Steelers - Ben's about washed up. He moves around now about as good as a three legged water buffalo. There have been signs this team has been on the downslope for the past couple of years. Haley and Roethlisberger will get along together about as good as a Wolverine and Buckeye. Just don't see them having a good season. They have a lot of work to do, including finding a competent young QB. Record: 6-10 (at best).

Does anybody feel like doing an All AFC North Team again?

America

Does anybody feel like doing an All AFC North Team again?

QB - Big Ben
RB - Raymell Rice
RB - Trent Richardson
WR - AJ Green
WR - Mike Wallace
TE - Heath Miller
LT - Joe Thomas
LG - David DeCastro
C - Maurice Pouncey
RG - Marshall Yanda
RT - Michael Oher

*Jermaine Gresham is a very arguable pick at TE, especially going into the future, but I gave Miller the nod because he's a solid blocker and productive receiver, a traditional TE, whereas Gresham splits wide or plays the flex TE position much for frequently.

DT - Haloti Ngata
NT - Casey Hampton
DE - Geno Atkins
OLB - LaMarr Woodley
MLB - Ray Lewis
MLB - Lawrence Timmons
OLB - James Harrison
CB - Ladarius Webb
S - Ed Reed
S - Troy Polamalu
CB - Joe Haden

Tear it apart

K Train

casey hampton belongs no where on that list anymore, and really ray lewis probably doesnt either. And id arguably take michael johnson or carlos dunlap at OLB over harrison at this point in his career but harrison would still be a beast as a MLB

I was actually talking about the position-by-position polls that we did on here a couple of years ago but it doesn't seem like anybody is too interested in that lol.
