Well this should be a very interesting game. I'm not gonna make any predictions other than this: this game will either go very well for the Chiefs or very badly. I don't think there will be much of a middle ground. I expect the defense to perform well, but the offense will struggle. The Texans will probably try to emulate the Colts effort in the playoffs last year and focus on shutting LJ down and forcing Huard to beat them through the air. With our offensive line I am not confident that will happen.

I agree. Though I'm very excited. We will know a lot about our season in about 4 hours.

Nice to see Herm Edwards slowly destroy another team.

I think you guys are in the Brian Brohm race as of today.

I'm not sure where Herm gets blamed for this loss. The Chiefs lack the offensive line to do any damage offensively whatsoever. Are they in the Brohm race? Perhaps, although I'd prefer the Chiefs spend a premium draft pick on an offensive tackle.

The offensive line definitely wasn't good, but they weren't THAT bad. The only bad spot really was Turley. Huard has horrible pocket presence though. If he gets a little pressure he turns into a little girl and curls up.

Co-Sign. Damon is really starting to piss me off. The Goats of the game were Solari and Damon. Damon's throws were almost always off target and he showed horrible pocket presence. Solari really should of opened up the playbook instead of doing these little dump offs to LJ. Dwayne Bowe and Sammie Parker(!) really impressed me. I can't believe Sammie actually learned how to catch the ball. The defense looked good, but they started to tire at the end of the game b/c of that anemic offense. Lastly, Brodie Croyle really needs to start, yeah, Damon won't loss the game for you, but he certainly won't win it for you. Sure, Damon would be great if we surrounded him with talent, but that's certainly not the case. Put Brodie in and let him make some plays. Also, we really need to draft a gamebreaker in the off-season...someone like DeSean Jackson, this offense just lacks any playmakers. </End Rant>

Why would we want Brohm, Brodie is the s**t...I really think we need DeSean Jackson

::Shakes 8 Ball::
Signs point to yes. Hmm, yeah, the Chiefs will still probably suck next week, I don't think you need to worry.

Desean Jackson would be nice, but I'm worried about whoever is back there at QB having the time to throw him the ball. Sure, the line didn't play so badly yesterday, but Houston doesn't really have that stud pass rusher like, say, a Chicago or a San Diego has.

Yep, and the fans are probably going to be screaming for Croyle this week. It's probably going to be a long day for us but we will just need to suck it up with Huard and see what happens. The only good news now is LJ is only on pace for 160 carries. :)

Yea, Hard not to argue that we definately need some beef along our O-Line.

Also, if we start Croyle, let it be next week at Arrowhead.
