"We'll know more in the next couple of days," coach Gary Kubiak said. "There was no swelling, but there's definitely a sprain there. It's a concern right now." Kubiak added that Johnson could miss anywhere from one week to several weeks. That is a major blow for the Texans.

That doesnt bode well for the offense...considering in the past weve struggled to find somebody to take the pressure off AJ....maybe it will be a motivating factor and the Colts will think they cant lose to a team whose only pro-bowler is out and then guys like Walter, Jones, Daniels, and maybe Mathis can make a few things happen...

Just by the kind of leader AJ seems to be, I bet he plays sunday...he doesnt want to be out against the Colts

Andre is our big play threat. He's our strongest, fastest, and smartest receiver. I don't see what Kubiak sees in Walter. I'm thinking run run run to control the clock.

jacoby jones finally gets his chance to shine but too bad it took the loss of an elite WR to get him in there

Texans' Johnson won't play against Colts

Associated Press

HOUSTON -- Houston Texans (http://www.nfl.com/teams/houstontexans/profile?team=HOU) receiver Andre Johnson (http://www.nfl.com/players/andrejohnson/profile?id=JOH056462) said he won't play this weekend against Indianapolis as he recovers from a knee sprain.

Johnson sprained his knee during the fourth quarter of the Texans 34-21 win over the Carolina Panthers (http://www.nfl.com/teams/carolinapanthers/profile?team=CAR) on Sunday. He was hurt after falling awkwardly on his knee following a 10-yard reception and remained on the turf for several minutes.
He was able to walk off the field on his own, but could be seen limping on the sideline.

Johnson had seven catches for 120 yards and two touchdowns on Sunday and his 262 yards receiving in the first two games rank fourth in the NFL.
