you put diehl below Colombo which is indefensible.

I disagree. Colombo was good last year, and has been quite a bit better this year. Diehl is a guard transitioning to LT, and I'm going to need to see more than 5 good games from him (there have been rough patches in a few games) to put him above more proven tackles who are also playing well. If he continues to play this well, then he will move up. Simple as that.

Nah, we didn't. Let's start at the most controversial position in the division: safety.

Rank these players for 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th:

Roy Williams
Ken Hamlin
Brian Dawkins
LaRon Landry
Gibril Wilson

2nd: Brian Dawkins
This is sort of like the deference pick I made to McNabb earlier in the QB debate. Probably, well, definitely hasn't played the best of the group this season at times, but I would still take him over any of the others if I had to win one game.
3rd: Roy Williams
Guy gets all sorts of hate, much of it undeserved, but no one mentions the fact that he has not been showing up in opponents highlight plays this season, and hasn't been anywhere near a completed deep pass play, either. Haters would argue that its because he is not out in coverage. I have 12 DVDs worth of game film to prove otherwise. Won't hold this position on my list long, with Landry charging hard, but still a high quality player that lays the wood, makes sure tackles and comes to play every game.
4th: LaRon Landry
First thing that jumps out at me when I watch him play is how much power he packs into such a small frame. It was amazing to me to see him standing next to Taylor, and seeing just how big Sean was. Still, the hitting power was similar. He is starting to show up in coverage, making plays on the ball, but safety is one of the hardest positions in the NFL to adjust to as a rook, with all the reads and communication that is required of you. Looks like a star in the making, though.
5th: Ken Hamlin
Had a hard time here choosing between Hamlin and Wilson. Giants have given up quite a few big plays this year, while the Cowboys problem with allowing the long ball has been corrected, with Hamlin being the main reason for it. Could go either way, but Ken has definitely resurrected his career, and will get a nice payday from someone after this season.

2. Brian Dawkins
3. LaRon Landry
4. Gibril Wilson
5. Ken Hamlin
6. Roy Williams

3-5 are pretty interchangeable for me right now. Hamlin's played very well this season. Roy Williams is an OLB.
