As for the Raiders : Since we "earned" the top pick i would just go with the best players available in this paticular mock.

1. JaMarcus Russel / Calvin Johnson / Adrian Peterson
2. Jamaal Anderson
3. Greg Olsen

All these positions answer needs although we do need a run stuffing DT Jamaal on value alone would be too much to pass up on. He would mos def compliment Burgess and form a good combo. As for Greg Olsen i am sooooooo tired of Courtney and his lack of hands that this would be good value and they say the best friend of a young QB is a good TE.

PackerFan20
01-23-2007, 12:03 PM
3. Greg Olsen

I was think of puttin in a TE just never go around to it and i wasnt sure about what Porter was going to do seeing as he thinks hes a number 1 WR. Moss is definitly startin to feel the effects of age

alright, first of all, I'm just going to come out and say that you get a big fat

F!

here's why....

Jaguars select-
1) Troy Smith? WTF? have you not read that he's listed as 5'11 and doesn't have that great of arm...

2) Earl Everett- he would be a great pick with the value but there are other needs in the second round other than LB

3) A running back in the third...this team is loaded at the RB position...did you not see MOJO run for 1000 yards and score 16 td's? or Fred Taylor run for 1200 yards, and perhaps you forgot about Greg Jones?

Pittman and Smith in the first is a bit of a stretch.

I personally wouldn't bet against Anderson and Bowe dropping to the 2nd.

I hope the Browns go after Joe Staley with their second pick and release/waive that p.o.s. Tucker.

Also, If you have Tampa winning the coin flip and getting 3rd pick, they have 3rd on odd rounds. The winner of the coin flip gets odd number, and the losing even numbered. So TB would be round1:pick3, then 2:4, 3:3, 4:4, 5:3, etc. Basically saying, Cleveland drafts 3rd in round 2 if you have Tampa winning the coin toss.

Jamaal Anderson is a top 10 pick no way he falls to the second round. So him falling to the second pick in the second round is a huge drop. I can't imagine he falls that far and if he falls at all it will be to the 10-15 range. Also no way the Niners get Ted Ginn, if they get a receiver they will get a bigger receiver who can run routes and is an actual receiver and not just a "playmaker".

Tennessee getting Pittman? Really? I thought they spent a 2nd rounder last year on LenDale White and could have gotten huge picks if they traded it away. Maybe I'm wrong though.

Bad Titans pick. Why Pittman of all RB's too?

Chris Leak in Philly? Yeah, that would last.

I don't like the draft overall.

There's mistakes all over. The one that gets me the most is Vikings taking Jordan Palmer in the 3rd round. We will not take a QB on the first day of the draft 2 years in a row. We are comitted to my man Tarvaris Jackson.

Horrible second round pick for the Packers. TE is a need, but when you have a player like Robert Meachem on the board you take him, especially over a mediocre TE.

rather see that draft formiami fits much better for miami's needs and according to randyand cameron what they are talking of. I know it isnt the "sexy" picks but would be players that would make the team better long term.

By Far the worst Dolphins draft I have seen. Leon Hall is ok in round 1 in Branch doesn't fall. Thats about all you got right tho.

Carriker in round 2 is pretty much an exact clone of Matt Roth who we took in round 2 of 2005. If Jarvis Moss slips out of round one we will take him in round 2. but theres no way he slips into round 3 like you have him doing.

Tyler Palko? Are you joking. Miami either takes trades up for Quinn or gets Smith is round two but they are not going to draft a thrid round QB when they already got a guy on the roster named Cleo Lemon who is basically just as good as a 3rd rounder at this point and he has already been with the team and knows the WRs. They either go for one of the top QBs or not at all because this team has way too many needs to go after a mid round QB who is likely no more then a backup. Greg Olsen, Brian Leonard, HB Blades, LaMarr Woodley and Johnnie Lee Higgins would be much better picks at that spot.

With the picks you have the Dolphins draft should look more like this.
1- Leon Hall
2- Jarvis Moss
3- LaMarr Woodley

EDIT: looks like you change the Tyler Palko pick to Chris Davis. At least you are getting closer but it is still a horrible pick. I go to FSU. Davis is a 5th rounder at best. Woodley, Blades, Higgins, Leonards and Olsen are better picks in that order.

The Revis pick is good, and Booker is the type of back the Giants need, but they dont need to waste a pick on him in the second when they could get him in a later round (or another speedy back). As for the Olsen pick, I have no clue what you were thinking.

I would love to see GB get Zbikowski... my favortie ND player goin to my favorite team

Why can't Henry be our #1? He had an excellent year. He's been a Pro Bowler. He's the type of back that fisher wants, power.

Can't say much about White, I'm a little skeptical on him too. But even if they lost Henry, I'd be very suprised if they drafted a back high again after using a 2nd on White.

Meachem in the 2nd is nice.

If that Nebraska OLB can play ILB, he may be nice. But if Moss and Woodly were still there, one of them would more than likely be the pick. We need a DE, and hope we drafted a future Mike last year.

Why would the G-Men take Olsen in the second round? We've got Jeremy Shockey, a pro-bowler. We also have Shiancoe who the coaching staff really likes. He's a great blocker and is catching skills have been improving. More likely we'll pick up an OLB to replace that bum Emmons.

wow one of the worst giants mocks i have ever seen

very good 1st round pick but way too high for booker and we dont need another TE we have shockey and shiancoe who is a good blocker and secondary option

There are so many better choices and needs for the giants and this really didnt do iti was concerned about the shockey situation but he says alot of dumb stuff...
Shockey is not going anywhere, that was made clear by him and John Mara on WFAN...he said he loves Shockey passion and would take ten shockey's on his team and understands what you get with his passion.

Lions get Jamaal Anderson in the second round? A++++++++++++++++

However, this is no chance this will happen, so in realistic terms, I give you an F.

Bears get an F. Ignores all 3 of major needs at linebacker, safety, and OT.

Bears get an F. Ignores all 3 of major needs at linebacker, safety, and OT.LB, S? I can see OT.
They need a TE and WR seeing as they have starters who are aging in those positions.

NO, they don't. LB is a need, Briggs MAYBE leaving, who knows though. Mike Brown could be getting offloaded, his injuries make him a liability, especially with his contract size. TE is NOT A NEED...Desmond Clark has been outstanding. Moose, Berrian, Davis/Bradley make a solid tandem.

Give the Bucs Leonard at the end of the 2nd instead of Bush and you have one hell of a draft

Jags draft: F--

I hate Troy Smith and wouldn't take him in the second round.

Earl Everett is okay.

Darby is a second-day guy now and we have much bigger needs then runningback.

Trent Edwards? :?

Jamaal Anderson falling to round 2?

You get an...

F!
2 round 2 pick not that far off!and whats wrong with trent?

Jamal Anderson has a better chance of being the 2nd pick overall then the 2nd pick of the 2nd round. GET A CLUE if you think he's a 2nd round pick he's this years Julius Pepper or Mario Williams a freak.

The Vikings will not take a QB on the first day! Anyone thinking about making a mock soon and wants to give the Vikes a QB in the 3rd forget it. It's not going to happen. Anything but a quarterback could be a good guess. Tarvaris Jackson already has Brooks Bollinger for competition we're not going to bring in a 3rd round talent because that would be pointless.

Giants wouldn't take booker in the 2nd, he is a late 3rd talent, give us him in the 3rd and we don't need another TE from the U, shockey was a pro bowler, 1st round is perfect, Meriweather in the second, and Booker in the third
